I finally discovered Jerry Rolls this year and between those and Amish donuts I was a happy man.
I'm mad at myself for not getting an Amish donut this year. I even passed right by it. I think I ended up getting at least 4 slices of Spicy Pie though.

And spicy pie it was for me too! The only other thing I got in Centeroo were pretzels from Amish Baking, omg those things were heavenly! But the best most delicious thing I got was a Grilled Cheese sandwich from a food truck on Sunday for breakfast. Sadly I can't remember the name of the truck or the sandwich but it was made with smoked chipotle gouda, jalapenos, and fresh guacamole. I was pretty sure I'd be feeling like shiz the whole day but that sandwich and a sweet tea crushed my hangover and brought me back from the dead.

Its hard to go against the spicy pie, had to two slices this weekend. The place that did fries beside the alligator bites was awesome. I enjoyed the Cracked truck as well.

I probably had 8 slices throughout the weekend. Plus a plate of alligator bites. And two Goy Veys from the Cracked food truck, which were absolutely amazing.

The past 3 years I've seen the Aligator bites but I've never gotten them. What exactly are they?

Well, this year it was a plate of (I believe) black beans, rice, peppers, and onions, with pieces of fried gator on top. The sauce they make for the gator bites really puts it over the top. It's simply amazing. However, the previous year I bought gator bites and I was able to purchase just the bites rather than the plate. I kind of liked this better because really the best part is the gator, but I could not find it this year.
You can also get them in a burrito, but I have never tried that.
I finally got some spicy pie after Tom Petty and it was amazing! The Pesto Mozzadilla however was my favorite food of the whole week, I'm going to be making that as often as I can. The Amish donut was the best donut I've ever tried (Krispy Kreme cannot even come close). My one food regret was not trying a Thurmon Murmon, that is my number one food priority for next year.
I tried a flavor this year that I didn't remember from before. Hot Lips Houlihan or something. It was way good. Love spicy pie
My girlfriend and I had 2 of these this weekend. Soooo good. The second time I walked up and said "Hot Lips". The guy gave me a really weird look and I was kind of uncomfortable for a second and then he says "I don't even know you, and you're calling me hot lips?". I thought that was pretty funny.
I tried the Thurman Murman because of all the talk on here... I thought it was okay/good, but didn't love it. I don't regret the purchase, but I certainly won't preach it. The roti itself was delish, so next time that I see them, I might try a different one.
Spicy Pie and Pesto Mozzadilla were by far my best meals this weekend. Also the bacon and/or sausage egg and cheese sandwiches that my Roo buddy makes every morning. I got some nasty chicken tender and fries during Tom Petty (due to proximity and lack of line) that I ended up giving to FuzzyWarbles who thought it was amazing. I think it was just the beer talking.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

The Thurman Murman at Spirit of Suwanne was a lot better than the one I had at Roo. That one was just runny and dripped all over the place. Maybe it was the heat or too much kimchi. I really didn't try much that was good at Roo this year aside from the Amish Doughnuts. I didn't even get the Peanut Noodles from the Solar Cafe on Shakedown that I normally do. The Iced All Nighter from there was a good refresher for the mornings.
