Also, I just want to point out that Mike D has been suspiciously quiet during all of this. I'm not saying he's mafia, but typically he's way more vocal in expressing his thoughts, especially over a weekend. That combined with him starting the stacking on Linana has me locking in my vote. I feel like we most likely have 2-3 townies in this runoff. Id like to see it go down to a 2 person runoff from here. Maybe Mike D and either Jimmyroo or Linana.
So I decided to toss in a player that I find very suspicious - Ody. I preferred Bogart but no one else was putting Bogart into the runoff. There are a few other players I was suspicious of, and Ody was one of them. I said I like to cause a shizstorm early and see who tries to push me over the edge and Ody fits the bill. So that's that.
Like I said previously, if you think I'm full of BS then you suck at mafia and may god have mercy on your soul. Also, if you need any clarification on what I just said, feel free to ask specifically.
I certainly don't think you are full of BS, at least not completely. Actually, if I had been paying more attention to the vote changes, I would have made the jump to Bogart along with you, but I didn't make the odd suspicion/semi-validation/all of a sudden no votes on him connection until after the changes. Last game Mike D was killed right off, and all I have to go on is you saying that his quietness and moves without explanations are different than what he usually does, so I can't exactly say that he is suspicious--but that is just in my brief interaction with him.
I can see the reasoning why you chose to create a 4 person runoff via your explanation, but why not just deal with the you, Mike D, linana three way that is supposedly the most preferable of runoff configurations and see what happened?

I think with bogart, like I said it was hard to get a read but the fact that he volunteered to sacrifice himself made him seem like a townie. which could mean he is in fact a townie or just a smart mafia who knows how to manipulate the townies. and of course, odysseus is the one who vouched for bogart, so who knows?
I'm still having trouble figuring out where everyone stands. I would like to hear from Mike D and also some of the other players who've been quiet. leaving my vote for now but really leaning toward changing it, just FYi

I'm watching. I generally don't have a ton to say early on (unless kdogg is playing in which case I mostly just argue with him). If jimmy had left his vote on mike d to do a direct kill off, I would have changed mine. But he pretty promptly changed his, so I didn't.
My vote for Linana was basically to push a button and see who reacted, that's about all you can do early in the game like this. I have found it a little odd that I was put in the runoff for my change and not my first stack, something to keep an eye on cause I believe it's the first time it has worked out that way for me. I typically like to think that when the time leading up to a runoff is quiet, the mafia are happy with how things worked out. If we had 1 or 2 mafia in the runoff, I would be willing to bet the mafia wouldn't like that and would try to change things up to work in their favor. Vote for someone, see who comes to their defense . . . notes taken.
I will go back and review all the vote changes later and see if anything jumps out.

I agree that Mike D is a strong player and don't want him voted off, especially the first day. but, why continue to be so defensive of linana even after people are suspicious? is that evidence that you're mafia and desperate to save a fellow member? or evidence that you're townie bc you're willing to stick out your neck despite the personal risk?)
on the other hand, like ody said, changing a vote to jimmy because he is vocal also seems weird. usually I think mafia tend to be quieter to avoid suspicion, at least in the beginning.
so either jimmy is mafia as previously speculated, or the mafia is taking this opportunity to kill him off with a lot of the town being suspicious of him. either way, the focus is definitely on him right now, so if he's not mafia we are losing a potentially pretty strong townie.

I like where my vote is at the moment. Mike D is too good of an asset to the town if he is a townie and jimmy is starting to become just the same (read: both players benefit the town). Between linana and ody it was just a crapshoot for me. Not to say they aren't good players but both have been quite (look whose talking).
One thing that strikes me as odd is both this game and last I was slated to be put in the runoff first round then I was knocked out before the runoff was started which made me look suspicious.

First you agree that Linana being in the runoff is "random." I have been repeating that sentiment, and that sentiment only re: Linana the whole game. Then you go on to say that my defenses of her have been "flimsy." What the hell are you talking about?
I just meant that yes, her being in the runoff seemed random. but no one else was really bothered by it the way you have been and there wasn't a lot of reason to necessarily defend her over anyone else. if anything, you made a stronger case for Mike D but you were more vocal about linana. at least that was my impression, I could be remembering incorrectly.

I honestly would have wanted bogart in the runoff but my computer was acting up so I was on my phone all weekend and simply missed the opportunity to vote for bogart. At this point in the game I feel like Jimmy & Mike D are townies, so having them in the runoff is a lose lose, especially when mike and jimmy are some of the stronger players.

I'm definitely in for a 2nd runoff. I personally dont want to see someone voted off in a 4person runoff, it makes it WAY to easy for the mafia to sit back and let the townies assassinate each other!

-You've been accused of standing up for Linana(which I don't think you have) but you could have thrown that theory down the sh*tter if you put linana in the runoff. Instead you pitted yourself against the best mafia player(your words not mine) just doesn't add up.
I changed my vote from Ody to Linana to help you out thinking that you would rather be in a runoff with Linana than MikeD. You had me on your side but now I'm not so sure.

I'm not sure what to think at this point. Last game, Jimmy was mafia and I was a townie, and the mafia did a great job of setting me up to make me look like mafia, which got me voted off easily. Then, as more than one person has mentioned, I was arbitrarily (randomly, even!) put in this runoff. Not one person has given a good reason as to why I'm even in the runoff, even though there have been several reasons why the others raised suspicion. Yet Tejas goes and changes his vote to me, saying that out of the others, he thinks I am most likely to be mafia. Based on what???
Honestly this feels just like last time when I got set up. Maybe Jimmy is mafia and has been trying to make me look suspicious by bringing my name up and defending me in numerous posts. Maybe Tejas and Jimmy are mafia, and Tejas is trying to get me in a second runoff with Jimmy to try & keep Jimmy from being voted off.
I'm not totally sold on that theory, but I just wanted to make note of it for future reference. Maybe I'm wrong. Idk. The only thing I'm sure of is that changing my vote right now won't do any good because I'm already voting for MikeD, and the only other person who needs 1 more vote to get in the runoff is me, and I'm definitely not putting myself in there. Changing to Ody won't do any good since he only has 1 vote. Changing to Jimmy would likely ensure that he gets voted off, and I'd really like to see a 2 person runoff here. I'd also like to see MikeD last longer than day 1, after going back & reading several people say what a good player he is. Maybe he would speak up more on Day 2 and help us figure out who really is suspicious.
If someone else votes for Ody I will move my vote to him to try & get him in the runoff.
