This will be one of the top shows of the weekend for me, if not the top. They are one of the last bands I have not seen that I want to. I am purposely missing their show at the Fox so the roo one is special. That last album was fucking unreal.
Last festival setlist.
Worst Behavior (Drake song) Diane Young White Sky Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa Unbelievers Holiday Step Finger Back Horchata Everlasting Arms Cousins California English A-Punk Boston (Ladies of Cambridge) Ya Hey Campus Oxford Comma Giving Up the Gun Obvious Bicycle Encore: Hannah Hunt One (Blake's Got a New Face) Walcott
I'm going to be upset at the conflicts for this show.
I cant stop looking at your tag and new avatar. We do not have a Rowlf in our group. We have a Kermit (me), a Fozzie, an Animal (my wife), a Gonzo and a Snookie the Muppet (dont ask). We need a Rowlf. Rowlf is quite possibly the coolest of all the Muppets (with the Swedish Chef a not too distant 2nd place). I always told my group that no Muppet says Bonnaroo more thatn Rowlf although we all have at least a little bit of Animal in us when we get to the farm.

I'm worried about who I'll have to miss for this. They're not in my top 10, but I don't think they'll be playing DC (my current home) this summer or Chicago (my future home) soon after, since they've been on this tour for so long. They'd probably outrank anybody below #5 for me.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.

Mastodon and CHVRCHES are already confirmed for Friday, and you have to think both of them will be closing tents, which means they'll probably conflict with Vampire Weekend. There are going to be some truly brutal conflicts this year.

CHVRCHES can play Which any time during the day. I hope they will, at least. If my sister ends up attending, she will be inconsolable when she's confronted with the choice of CHVRCHES or VW.
I really hope VW closes the which for both of our sakes.

On the Bonnaroo.com lineup page Vampire Weekend has the second largest number of people who added them to their lineup, right behind Elton. Kind of weird that more people want to see them than Kanye or Jack.

Insane, What Stage will be packed if it goes Vampire Weekend-->Kanye West

What you listed above would qualify as a brutal conflict for me, especially CHVRCHES vs. Vampire Weekend.

I've already prepared myself for this and it makes me so sad. Hopefully Chvrches comes around here so I can see them elsewhere.

Just wait until it's frank ocean>VW>Kanye. I'm going to keep saying this until it happens.

Isn't it the bonnaroo thing to do to put them on the which before Kanye or Elton? Try to keep people moving or whatever the theory is?

Very much the Bonnaroo thing to do.. Hopefully they'll realize how much of a disaster that would be and atone in this case though.

Every year i go there is one show i must be front row for, last year it was Animal Collective and Alt-J, but i have never had it be a band on the What, so I'm kinda scared of missing all of the day they play, but i believe it will be worth it.
Unfortunately yes I did. I didn't get real big into Chvrches until around October so they'd already came and went by that time.
yah im super glad I was able to catch them twice before they released their album and started getting popular, wasn't even too crowded at that show in Columbus
