Weird the guy I went to high school with just messaged me back and said "Hey man! I don't think bands usually do Bonnaroo two years in a row. But I'm not 100%." He said he doesn't know 100% so there's a chance. I just feel like he would know it if they were. I hope that person is right and I am wrong cause I would love to see them again.
This was my first show last year. What a great way to start the weekend, they just had so much energy and got the crowd going. I've since seen them 2 other times and am a huge fan of their music. Would love for them to make it back to the farm!
I'm still not sure what slot they'll get this year. Friday afternoon which?
ugh. if they do get a stage, i hope its dusk or dark. I'd much rather another tent set
Lights aren't a big part of their show, I'm sure they wouldn't schedule them in the evening. I hope I'm wrong though, their shows get you pretty sweaty

i know i've seen them 5 times now. that's why i want cooler temperatures. i guess more so, no sun beating down. But thats a part of roo
I don't think they'll get a stage, don't get me wrong I had a blast last year at their show, but if they come they'll probably get a tent again. Hopefully something late though, like Japandroids did last year, that was a goood show.

If they played a stage then surely it would earlier in the day. I don't know that they are big enough yet to have a evening/night set on Which...but I may be wrong. I really liked their show(feel like i've said this 100 times now) and want to see them again. But I feel like they would get a evening tent set. I would be happy to see them get 1 and 1/2 hour set so we could see a little more of their stuff. 1 hour last year just didn't seem long enough.
I'm skeptical. I really hope they do but the guy I know who works with them knew of them doing other shows but knew nothing about Bonnaroo and I feel like if they were playing he would.

I missed this set last year so if they come back I will definitely be there. I heard about it all weekend last year and it ended up being one of my major "wish I had been there" experiences of last year.

I walked in during the middle of their set last year and really wished I saw the whole thing. Always have to support an Ohio band too.

Yeah I told all my friends they wouldn't want to miss that show. The ones who went were thrilled they went and the ones who didn't regretted it. I have seen them twice and both times they had great energy and put on a great show. They seem like cool guys and them being from Columbus makes it even cooler. Seeing someone I know touring and hanging out with them is really cool too.
I have a feeling the rumors of this band showing up aren't true - they haven't released anything since Bonnaroo, to my knowledge, and can't imagine a slot being wasted on a band like this for a repeat of last year's show.
That's cool with me because I need a ride this year and I'm from Kentucky!
I met a bunch of Ohioans last year. We're not too far from Tennessee.
I was beginning to think y'all had a Inforoo billboard up there or something. There aren't many of us in Louisiana that know about bonnaroo much less inforoo.

I think in the past they have brought back groups to do a similar thing. Giving them a spot on a better day than Thursday with a longer set wouldn't be the same show. They have a lot of really good stuff they didn't have time to play. Plus they have gained a lot of fans in the past year. But u may be right...maybe they just aren't big enough yet.

I think capital cities are confirmed to be playing. I think they might be the ones getting the Thursday bump. I would prefer it be twenty one pilots though personally.

I agree with you that it isn't likely they're actual coming back, but I HIGHLY doubt it would be a repeat of last year's show. Last year they were one of my favorite bands before roo and I was REALLY excited to see them live, but I wasn't anticipating the shitass line to get into centeroo on Thursday (I don't remember having to wait so long in 2012) so we were pretty late to their set and ended up sitting way in the back where we couldn't see them. The rest of my group didn't know who they were, and from where we were at it sounded like shit and we couldn't see anything, so it honestly kinda sucked. The people who were actually UNDER the tent said it was awesome and that it didn't sound bad at all, but for my group it wasn't awesome.
I was really sad that I didn't actually SEE their show and only heard a messed up version of it, and I was even more bummed when I got home and watched some YouTube videos of it. Tyler and Josh brought the energy, man. It was great. So I bought tickets to their headlining show in Detroit and went to see then this past December (November?)
At the show they headlined...didn't even compare to the roo YouTube videos I saw. It was the same energy, but multiplied by like a million. EASILY one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. They had some of the same stuff they did at roo (drumming on platforms on top of the crowd) but that was not the most memorable thing. I can't even explain it, it was so exceptional.
So that's why I think that if they came back , their show might have the same songs, but given a dark environment and a slightly longer set, I think it would be just as unbelievable as that night in Detroit, which was NOTHING like the YouTube videos I saw. I'd see that Detroit show 10 more times, man, so I really hope it happens.
But like I said, I still doubt it. They haven't gotten popular enough between now and last year.

My wife wanted to see them, and I had no idea who they were.
In my opinion they had the best on stage show I saw all weekend. Playing while standing on the crowd? Climbing the stage to the top, he'll even the drummer looked freaked out.
There music wasn't bad, not my favorite stuff I heard all weekend, but the show topped all.
I saw Haim, for instance, a band I knew much better and their show was ok, but the sound was terrible.
I would like to see 21 pilots on a bigger stage. With what they did in the other tent, I couldn't imagine what they'd do on which or a later show in a bigger tent. Then again, after their stage presence last year, I would probably just be in for a let down.

There were backflips and other gymnastics in Detroit, some phenomenal light show type stuff, josh playing not only a drum held up by the crowd, but his entire drumset. VERY theatric stage presence (which a lot of people aren't into but I am). I think the only way you'd be let down is if you're expecting a show like, twice as good as last year or something. I'd safely bet you wouldn't be let down if you'd expect a show of the same caliber as last year's, especially if they got an evening show in a tent (I don't think the which would make their show any better or worse honestly)
