For now I am going to with Bogart. Not because I am sure he's mafia. Simply because Ella's name has come up a few times, but always as the third party. It hasn't been "Ella voted this way" but rather "So and so voted for Ella and then changed." I reserve the right to change, but I might not get back on until tomorrow morning so I wanted to get a vote out there.
This is sort of where im at. While neither has done anything worthwhile of a vote, for me it basically is coming down to who is more innocent. Ella seems to be the name that has been throw out more so as a target and there seems to be manipulation involved, while bogart seems to have just been tossed in. i'm not sold in any way shape or form but for now it's where i am. hakuna >> bogart

As far as me vs Ella. Obviously I know I'm not mafia but I have a feeling neither is Ella. That being said she did trick the hell out of me last game. That's all I have when it comes to defending myself. If we are both townies than it doesn't matter who gets voted off we're still townies - 0, mafia - 1.
I didn't like the idea of a 4-person runoff in the first place. Last game showed that the 4 person runoff style set the town up too divided and allowed the mafia to slip through on things that honestly they should have been called out on. Even being mafia last game, I saw that there were huge holes that would have gotten any of us caught, but because of the division in the first runoff, no one knew what to look for. With the large breaks in time between voting and phi's null vote as well as the extension of the first runoff this time, it's pretty apparent that mafia are happy with killing off a townie today.

yeah, I realize that throwing ella in probably wasn't the smartest move. I was thinking votes might move when I did that, but nobody switched, even though there was plenty of time. I even said I didn't think a 4-way runoff was any better, I just didn't have any strong feelings about the other 3 in the initial runoff and I didn't like the vote changes off of her.
however, chances of ever getting a mafia on day 1 are always pretty damn low, so I think there could well be 2 townies in this runoff.
I honestly think that either way I vote we have two Townies in this runoff, that's my gut feeling after reading the 3 pages again and again. I'm basing my vote on my opinion that both Ella and bogart were thrown into the mix early on without much to go on at the same time along with hakuna and o'neil. The only difference I really noticed was that bogart made a questionable move that others picked up on as well, and ella really hasn't done anything other than defend herself to this point in the game. It's not much to go on, but this is my reasoning for my vote for bogart.
I know pepe silva went back and looked at bogart's moves in Day 1 last game, but each game is a new one as well. I agree with Mike D when he said:
Ya, I clarified a few posts up, basically I found it odd that he didn't stack a third in the runoff with his vote, especially being the last one to vote in the round. He then changed to Ella to try to keep her in the runoff. He said he doesn't like stacking his first vote, but seemed to jump on a stack shortly after.

My assumption after Night 1 is that Mike D wasn't Mafia, obviously I could be wrong as anything is possible in this game. Going into Day 2 with that in mind, either Mike D is simply perceived as a threat to Mafia whenever he is not one of them, or he was onto something/someone in Day 1, or both. Assuming Mike D was not Mafia, I'm looking at the final vote tally from Day 1/Runoff 2 and it's pretty split and straightforward which doesn't help much either. I'm gonna go back and read some more and let some discussion begin before I cast a vote right now.
On that note, LD, care to shed any light on the immediate vote for O'Neil without an explanation? I understand that you two were VP's for the beginning of Day 1, is this just a placeholder vote for now? Or do you have any additional reason or logic regarding the vote?
My thoughts are that they simply perceived Mike as a threat in general- they simply killed off a strong player to make us weaker. I'm going to try to reread a little just in case, though. My weekends are pretty busy, and normally I don't Inforoo on weekends, but I'm making an effort!

I agree that Mike probably got whacked just because he's usually perceived as a strong player who can benefit the town... although, I am planning to go back and re-read all his posts to make sure he wasn't pointing at anything that might have made the mafia nervous.
I think its strane everyone seems quick to just say MIkeD was whack as a veteran threat. Seems to be an easy out. Not sure why no one is looking at mafia assuming he was inspector. Phi offered Mike voting partners, which he didn't return. Instead he voted for Ella. While I don't think if Mike would blatantly throw his given name out that easy if he were inspector, it's worth keeping in mind. After that he switched to Bogart, who was killed. So I'm not really sure about what to make of that since the general consensus seems to be that Bogart was innocent, that may be worth re examining.
