I realized the mistake and deleted the post, so what?
Relax fellow Tim, I was just kidding around with the "Busted" comment. There's always going to be these instances where people don't check through previous pages to see if the info they have has already been posted or not. But when it's only 1 page back, expect to be called out on it. In this case, you got ninja'd before you could delete. It's all in good fun.
I'm not even offended. It just flat out wasn't funny, and was a boorish and unoriginal attempt to be "shocking," like ZOMG these guys just died hey guess who else won't be at Bonnaroo ALL OF TEH PHILIPPINES LULZ.
Well, to be fair, this is EVILtim102 we're talking about here. I'm sure when people die he just laughs maniacally, strokes his moustache, brushes the Arby's crumbs off his t-shirt, takes a sip of the Dew, and cranks the Foos.

If you did not read my post further up I said that I felt bad about the tragedy. I NEVER cracked a joke. Of course I would not be cracking jokes about my family and you can call me ignorant all you want, I don't care what you people think about me. You guys are getting way too butt hurt over 3 words that I posted. And I suppose if I lived somewhere else it would make my comment acceptable? I'll go live in the Constitution State or Ice Mexico and then Juggs won't be a whiny b*tch

I can't help the fact that I'm in Florida so I guess I'm already in the wrong according to Juggs. Was it because they were shot or was it because you guys have nothing better to do than to feel such sympathy for people you've never met? I'm sure you feel terrible for the random person that died in Germany right now. You saints. I'm a d*ck, f*ck all of you.

You just don't get it. An up and coming band meets a tragic end but you're getting upset because people thought your joke was tasteless and unfunny. Ignore what I said about "the bodies being cold" since this is the second time you've mentioned that. My original point was that these guys just passed away and you're post was unnecessary.

Look on page 2, Boston Powers said "Lou Reed" right after he died and the only two comments were, "Damn it, Powers." and "Too soon." That's it! So nobody cares because Lou Reed was successful and lived a great life and you feel bad for the band that didn't have the same stardom as The Velvet Underground? Would my post have been acceptable if Morrissey was covering The Yellow Dogs after the tragedy? I also said that I feel for this band, it's terrible. But come on, you guys aren't in your shower crying over them. That's all I'm saying. Laugh or not. Whatever.

Free tip: if you're going to make a crude joke about a musicians untimely death, own it (or apologize). Don't make the joke and immediately start acting like a b'tch the second someone calls you on it.

I apologize for saying "The Yellow Dogs" in the Bands NOT playing Bonnaroo 2014 thread. Death is a touchy subject here I suppose. That's the Florida in me talking.
I would have made the same joke, but wow, I wouldn't have defended myself. That's really where you're hurting here man. You need to understand that people aren't going to think it's funny and that's not something you really should WANT to defend.

Errrmm, well, there's also that whole triple murder-suicide aspect, which generally tends to put a damper on jokes for most.
