I'm not upset that you're not laughing at some joke! I'm upset because you guys are acting like babies about it. Look on page 2, Boston Powers said "Lou Reed" right after he died and the only two comments were, "Damn it, Powers." and "Too soon." That's it! So nobody cares because Lou Reed was successful and lived a great life and you feel bad for the band that didn't have the same stardom as The Velvet Underground?
Errrmm, well, there's also that whole triple murder-suicide aspect, which generally tends to put a damper on jokes for most.

Quite a bit of testiness on this thread. While I realize it's 212 days, 14 hours, 59 minutes and 31 seconds til Roo 14--it's only 13 weeks til the lineup drop so let's get that Roo vibe back.

Ice Mexico? Im assuming that youre referring to your great neighbours to the north? Never heard that before....kind of funny, but mostly just confirms how much the sun shines on the back of your neck down there.

The pluralization of Velvet Underground was part of the joke. Making obvious typos makes the post appear more ignorant and thus hopefully funnier.
I will be taking 2014 off from Soundgarden touring due to prior commitments promoting "Lightning Bolt" with my brothers in Pearl Jam and the desire to have more time at home with my family. I am trying to balance the many twists and turns of my awesome music career. This is temporary. I am still an active member of Soundgarden. Chris, Ben, Kim and I are in the process of finding the perfect substitute for the upcoming Soundgarden dates in 2014.
