I'm hoping they're only using the slogan and incorporating it into something with an actual design. Either way, this is terrible. I'm embarrassed that this is what the most visible fest from my hometown (well I'm from the burbs, but still) can come up with.

It has been a fun 2 months trying to convince my friends with good music taste who don't like the lineup to buy a single or 3 day while hiding from my friends with bad taste who do want to go.
And after a night of drinking I told friends I would take them to Disclosure aftershow and completely forgot it was the same night as Cut/Copy. I'd rather see C/C over Disclosure. Perfect.
hahaa, I was actually thinking this morning that I wish I had bought tickets to Disclosure as well.
Anyone know where the best place to get some single day or late night tickets are?
Recently found out I can't go to Forecastle and I'd love to go to Lolla for a day.
If you aren't local, I would buy on Stubhub the week of or just buy one outside the gate as that would be your best bet for a non-Craiglist ticket to the fest itself.
For aftershows, it would depend on which one you want to go to. Some aren't sold out yet, but only a few. Lolla aftershow tickets are pretty unpredictable on the secondary markets. I've had some that I've sold that have drastically gone up in price right before the fest and some that I've sold for less than face. Shop around and figure out what is the best value for your musical tastes.
What day are you planning on going?
Not a local but I do have family/friends to stay with in the area so going and buying outside the gates is a possibility if you think that's a good idea. Do you think they'd be any cheaper than ~120-130 per day? Thats about the cheapest I've found them on Ebay. I'd love to go friday and see Interpol, Lykki Li and AM.. Saturday too if prices weren't ridiculous.
As far as late nights go, I'd love to see Cut/Copy more than any of those, but I'd be open to others if the price is right. It's too bad Interpol is Wednesday.

I've been watching stubhub ticket prices (because that's what I do for fun) and Friday and Saturday prices haven't budged at all. I think with Eminem on Friday and Calvin Harris/Outkast on Saturday demand will stay pretty high. All things considered $120 for a day pass isn't bad since they're $100 face. If you want to go Friday or Saturday I'd just take it.
I bet you'll be able to get Sunday tickets dirt cheap day of though.

Thanks for the help.
The week of the fest will have the cheapest tickets especially if it is supposed to be very hot or wet. Buying at the gate certainly carries risk. I personally wouldn't want to wait that long. I'd buy the cheapest thing I could find on Stubhub or Craigslist but would pay more for a Stubhub ticket because of the avoidance of being scammed with a fake ticket.
Cut/Copy tickets on the resale market aren't too bad. They also announced a Chvrches DJ set at a gay bar, tickets go on sale tomorrow.
Oh hell yes. Blood Orange into Chvrches DJ set? Yes. MOAR.
I went to Berlin to see the dude from Crystal Castles do a DJ set either last year or the year before. It was an interesting place. I came away thinking it was much more a dance club than a gay bar, though it is definitely very much both of them. This has me thinking that I now sell my Chrvches tickets for their live show Thursday, go to Blood Orange and then do the Chvrches DJ set. I like having choices.
As it was Crystal Castles and Berlin is not quite in the line of Boys Town bars I think it's probably a little more tame than say, Hydrate.

Yeah, I have no clue when it comes to those things. I didn't even realize one of the bars next to the Aragon and Riv was a gay bar until I went to the bathroom.
Found out real quick lol.
Crew? It's also the only Wichita State bar in Chicago.

Okay, I see. I'll probably buy stub hub if I can get them around $120. If not, I might try my luck at the gate. I'll probably try to scoop Cut/Copy tickets off of stub hub as well. Which late nights Thursday/Friday would you recommend?
Also, any recommendations on hotels for Friday night? Staying with a friend just north of Wrigley thursday but I want to be closer to the action Friday night.
