I stalled out on AC4 because I took advantage of having Playstation Plus and downloaded Uncharted 3 for free on PS3. Now, I feel like I have to run through that. I am going to have to hold off on downloading Borderlands 2 until later or I will never finish.

I loved Uncharted 3. It was just as good as the second.
I am 6% into AC4 and am enjoying it so far. The graphics are great.
Abra won the PS4 through that Taco Bell promotion. The PSPlus came with it. Their marketing ploy worked because I will probably renew it when the year is up.

Yeah, they added it Tuesday, I think, to the PS3 collection.
This might be a stoooopid question, but if I signed up for Playstation Plus on the PS4, can I get free games on PS3, too? And is there a limit to how many games you can get? thanks

You just have to sign in with the same account on the PS3 and you will be good to go. I used a more current email with the PS4, so I actually had to go back and create a new PS3 account so it would sync up. As far as the restrictions go, I think they limit the amount of games that are in the free section at any time (a different game was dropped when borderlands 2 was added, for example) but once you got them downloaded, they are yours for as long as you keep PS+. The only limits would be how many you can fit on the hard drive.
I got a Xbox One when it first came out despite the extra $100 on the price tag and I have to say I haven't been disappointed yet despite a few little hiccups with a coupe of features. The games I have for it are Assassin's Creed 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, and Ryse: Son of Rome. So far Assassin's Creed has been my favorite game out of them all but Dead Rising is great fun just running around killing zombies with insane combo weapons (leaf blower+vibrator) and wearing even crazier outfits (knights armor, shark head, leather mask and pants). With Titanfall coming out March 11 I can definitely see an influx of Xbox One purchases. That game is gonna be awesome; I can't wait.
With all that being said when I have the $$ I will for sure be purchasing a PS4 especially when more details are shared about Uncharted 4.

I just beat Tomb Raider on PS4 and it was excellent. It has an Uncharted feel to it. It's maybe 20 or so hours long. Not a lot of replay value but fun if you can get it at a good price.
I really hope Sportsfriends comes to Xbox One because I really don't want to shell out $400 on a PS4 just to play an arcade game. In case you don't know what I'm talking about:

To be honest, I love my Xbox One but there not that many local multiplayer or co-op games to play when friends come over to drink and hangout. I usually end up hooking up my OUYA and playing emulated PS1 games and such.

Oh without a doubt. I got up to Gen 10 Level 50 within the first month and I'm taking a big break from it. The advantage with playing the alpha and the beta is that you learn all the hidden quirks like wallhanging and knowing which load outs work for each game mode (CTF, Attrition, Hardpoint, LTS). Respawn needs to add more modes and maps ASAP!

I think it really all depends on how many members on the board have an X1/PS4. If there isn't a huge population of X1/PS4 owners, then I would merge the two.

I've got a PS3 as my main gaming console (but I don't play it often enough). Trying to sell my Xbox 360 and I have a Wii in my bedroom that's just a glorified Netflix box.
Once I upgraded my computer to handle games (new Power supply and Video card) I've gotten way too many steam games and have only played a small percentage of them.
I'll be sticking with PS3 and PC for a while. Probably not getting a next gen console for another year or two.
Halo Spartan Assault and Max The Curse of Brotherhood are free on XB1 til June 30th. Max is a great game if you're into platformers. Halo Assault is a must-skip...very boring, short, and repetitive from beginning to end.
I got Bloodborne this week - easily the best game yet for the PS4. Vicar Amelia is kicking my butt, though. You will love it if you enjoyed Dark Souls.
