Sounds terrible!

edit note: To be fair, I was standing all the way up front for the 2+ hrs and then most of the show. Lost some of my wares prior to the show (which never happens, so... fate?). Had to sit just for sheer tiredness around Good Life -> Flashing Lights... sunrise. Just shook my head and it was time to go. lol (did walk past Chali 2na though, which was cool)

If I remember correctly, Robert Randolph had Robert Plant on stage and told the audience at his show the next day that (and I am paraphrasing I am sure): "The fans spend a ton of money and travel far to see good shows, lots of staff and volunteers work hard to set everything up, the bands pour their heart and souls out on the stage for the entertainment of the fans, then someone like Kanye West comes around. He is rude to the bands, he is rude to the crew, he is rude to the fans, and CAN I GET A KANYE SUCKS!" fans "KANYE SUCKS!, KANYE SUCKS!" Many other bands started similar chants, and musicians usually seem to stick together, so I am guessing he was a big Dbag. Personally I like Kanye's stuff, but just like Eminem's lip syncing, time wasting, crude for no reason, push the new album after every song poor performance, he earned his rep as not worthy of Bonnaroo (IMO). It is not that they are not talented, just that they didn't care enough to bring it. Jay-z, and Damien Marley and Nas were WAY better performances in their year there.

With all that said, if they brought Kanye back, I would not deny him a second chance to put on a good show (unless there was an better [IMO] act at same time). Sometimes you get an off night, or Kanye may have been on his moon cycle. I like the Black Crowes and have seen two horrible performances of theirs over the years. I have friends who have only seen great shows of theirs. I am all about giving second chances to acts, but if there are others who are worthy of their first shot (for me), or who want to follow up a past great show, I would take them over someone who put on a bad show (especially if it appeared that effort or caring were the cause). And yes, I would go into that Kanye show fully knowing, "fool me once, shame on Roo, fool me twice.... you can't get fooled again" just kidding "shame on me", and would most likely never go back for a third.

There won't be anyone playing at the same time. If he plays, he's absolutely an unopposed headliner. No question about it.
I'm pretty sure Outkast would win. I mean it's two on one, hardly a fair fight. Although Kanye is strong enough to break a Macbook just by typing hard so who knows
Outkast! No contest! If you had to deal with the GayFish at Roo 08 you would agree.
yea i'm sure dealing with it would make it way worse! although i would like to see him, i'm not going to cry if he's not there and i'm not going to get into the quack kanye arguement, i like bands for the music and not personality but at some point its tough to like the guy for sure. i understand why people hate him. but i would rather see kanyes show than outkast. i saw big boi at a fest last year and he did a couple of outkast songs which was cool but i think kanye's show would be more impressive/exciting to see.......if he showed up and actually did it
can anyone here honestly say that they have been to metallica, tool and , kanye shows and that there was not a noticeable difference in the vibe versus say the dead, umphreys, or wsp. there is a huge difference in the crowd and the vibe. its just the way it is. just like now there is a HUGE difference between the vibe at all good or gratefulfest vs. roo. i dont see how anyone can deny it. sure its wrong to generalize all fans of a certain band but we are talking the majority of their draw not every single person that listens to them. the vibe at roo is way different then it was years ago. plain and simple, i dont see how it can be denied. go to roo and all good this year and tell me there is no difference in the vibe between the 2 youd have to be in a coma to not notice it. but you wouldnt have notied that difference a few years back.
I want start using "vibe" five times in each of my posts.

So far you have 8 posts bashing Kanye, and one about shoes. That's kinda sad.
I think they're just saying, maybe since you don't like Kanye (I'm not a fan either), maybe choose a different thread than one related to Mr. West. There's a couple more out there

I would say Kanye, just because Outkast is literally going to be at every other US festival this year (or so it seems). Plus I saw Kanye a couple of months ago, and it was one of the best shows I've seen.
It's amazing to me how personal people takes Kanye's antics.
This. What amazes me more is that because of his antics, so many people dont give his music a chance. When I told some friends a couple of months ago I was going to the Yeezus show, their response was "he sucks why would you go to his concert." Of course when I asked them why he sucks their response was just "oh hes an asshole." And when I told them Yeezus was one of the best albums of 2013, they automatically came to the conclusion that I have shitty taste in music.
