Hubs and I are fully ready to be dirty hippies for bonnaroo but for 1 hr. out of the weekend we need to act (we try really hard!) like responsible adults. So, I was wondering if theres a Catholic Church anywhere nearby? Possibly with an early mass so we can be back ASAP. Don't want to miss out on any of the festivities!! I tried to google it but I couldn't really get any info on proximity. Many thanks inforooers!!!!

Yeesh, I'm from Va. and when we meet a southern baptist we immediately turn and run before they throw their bible at us, Catholics. I prefer stones to bibles but neither if I can help it.... Perhaps, we'll just have to venture out a bit further for a Catholic Church.

Dave Maynar:: Many thanks!! I wouldn't want to cause an incident at the southern baptist church. *note to self: must check for influx of stones when we get on the farm*
Dave, pull me up one a them church of the serpents. I needs some repenting after Im bout thru with Roo.
They can't advertise for some reason. Apparently, the man does appreciate those who understand that faith is a test that can only be passed with snake venom. In other words, you're basically f*cked.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Oh it is real all right. I went to college at a small school on the Kentucky/Tennessee border. One of my best friends was a religion major so he had to go around to several different types of churches for a paper he was writing. I went with with him to several, including the snake handler church. They had a "guest" section for visitors safety. It was quite the experience.

Where did you go to college?
When I was there is was Cumberland College. Now it is called University of the Cumberlands. Located in Williamsburg Kentucky.
Edit: I never met Jesus there either, but we did have Ollie North as a guest speaker. :-)
