Ideal: Jack White+JPJ+UM Nightmare: Lana Del Rey (PLEASE DONT!!)
Fwiw I talked to Lana's monitor and guitar techs on Friday and didn't give any implications of her attending. But since they probably wouldn't work that show, I guess anything is possible. Wouldn't expect it though.
Might have just used that line because the main name on the additions was John Paul Jones. Not sure that's a hint but I wouldn't complain if it were.
Wait what? How does "whole lotta announcements" lead to John Paul Jones?
Whole lotta announcements>whole lotta love>led zeppelin>john Paul Jones
As for my hopes and dreams, I think a blues superjam would be really fun. John Paul Jones, jack white and others is definitely within the realm of possibility. I don't see how this hint fits in with that, the biggest thing that's shown up is the wiz khalifa song and to be honest I'm not a huge fan...
Damn work computer. Can anyone elaborate on what the pic posted is?
Skrillex & Friends = Big Gigantic, Damian Marley, Robby Krieger of the Doors, Zedd, Mickey Hart, Janelle Monae, Warpaint, Chance the Rapper, Thundercat and more

Hmmm....Solid Mystery Superjam. Going to be pretty awesome music but not as exciting as the past two years IMO. Still....should be a great time. Now I don't feel terrible about not getting the rail but I definitely still want to see it. Some big names. Definitely feels like the original plan didn't come together but Derek Trucks should tear the house down.
It's not as attention grabbing right away but there are some big names (Taj Mahal, Chaka Khan) and awesome talent (members of Lettuce, Derek Trucks, Ben FOlds). I'm excited but not nearly as much as the past two years.
Skrillex Superjam, Flips, Nick Cave and Frank Ocean has now become the worst conflict time slot at Bonnaroo.
Really impressed by the guests he booked for this. Lots of different genres and vibes.
unless youre really into the collaboration skrillex did with the doors a couple years ago, its still an easy choice.
nick cave is probably the best live musician out of all of those acts.
frank ocean is a really rare live act.
so you should choose accordingly.
Yea, this is my toughest decision this year I think. I really want to see both but not sure who I will enjoy more. I also don't want to try and catch a bit of both and get stuck with a crappy spot.

This is way better than last year's "Soul" superjam.
Well, I guess I'm happy to see Ben Folds involved after all...I was bummed after seeing him on BLAM but not on the line-up....I still feel a bit "Meh" about this one

It will be for some. I'm a huge Jim James/Carl Broemel fan and was happy with all the surprises/guests last year but I'm sure this one will kick major ass as well. I'm a fan of most of the acts and need to brush up on my Chaka but I'm pretty excited for it. I'm not sure what kind of music/songs they'll be playing but it sure as hell will satisfy jam fans and people who want to see some legendary acts. Any recommendations for what to check out from some of these artists? Specifically Chaka and maybe Taj Mahal (who i've heard before but not really dug into the discography).
