All I know is it's guaranteed to be country and something I hate. But I'll be there for the crowd. And FYI, since you are going to Ascend, they have changed their policies on what you can bring in. No bags over 4 1/2 by 6 inches. Which is a fucking wallet.
LCD Soundsystem is apparently playing Municipal October 20.

Also, did anyone else catch Sigur Ros at TPAC this past Monday? Was fucking incredible!
A local radio station posted it on their website. Nothing is listed on the venue/ LCD website. So a fall tour announcement must be coming in the next few days.
My son and I went to XYZ lounge to see Travis Bowlin play an acoustic set Friday night. Look him up on Facebook. Really good. Then we closed Friday night out at Slider House to see my friend Trey Binkley play with Drake Freeman in a trio. I love the Nashville music scene. Doobies and Chicago VIP June 27th St Ascend.

A bunch of boring alt-country/folk/bluegrass bands that get played 500 times a day on Lightning 100 and have already played in Nashville 15 times in the past 5 years.

Definitely the best lineup they've had. Too bad I work every Thursday night. Wish they'd do these on Saturdays or Sundays at a bigger location like Parthenon grass.
