I'm not sure about anyone else. But everyday seems to be getting a little better day by day. Especially when it comes to trying to figure out who is going to be playing Bonnaroo this year.
With such an amazing year and lineup the prior year does it feel like it will be hard to top ?? Macca , Superjam , petty , not having to.hear mumford and sons, I think so but I also believe that we are in store for a potentially stacked lineup this year.
First of all I'm glad we aren't getting certain acts. Like lordes, kanye , Fleetwood mac, arcade fire , pearl jam , NiN , I love most of the bands but I've either seen them recently or I don't think I want to see them at roo.
With many bands being ruled out due to other festivals and other plans the landscape of what we are potentially uncovering seems very promising.
I'm sorry in advance for any errors I may type but for the most part I think it's pretty spot on. I won't touch headliner tier placement because bonnaroo is different than mostly all festivals.
First. Nothing pissed me off more than when bonnaroo started acknowledging the impossible wish lists that people were posting and obviously most were 14-18 years old potentially going to their first roo and waiting and hoping not knowing how seriously we take awaiting this magical place all year.
With that being said the remaining candidates are looking at are rather solid.
Foo Fighters Prince Outkast Daft Punk (I know it won't happen , but realistically it still could) Eric Clapton Elton John My Morning Jacket Dave Mathews Band The Allman Bros. Jack White Drake Sts9 umphreys ^^ both together would be a treat Alabama Shakes Lady Gaga (not a fan but would be a huge draw for most people ) The Flaming Lips Andrew Bird
A lot of these bands are very quite capable of being on the same lineup due to their purgatory status of semi headliners specifically at roo. I'm thinking something similar to 2009. I'm just saying. It probably isn't gonna happen but it could.
I think quite easily this could be the year that we get Elton John - Prince - MMJ - Outkast - the allman brothers - Foo Fighters-
All on the same bill !?!?!?
I would like to discuss what everyones opinions are on the matter. Only because I love talking about this truly illustrious weekend that most and many of us talk about 361 days out of the year that we aren't there. And because I think I could easily be right. Not specifically the bands listed above this paragraph. But I think most could easily be combinations at Roo 14.

I hope your right. I feel like the other festivals are putting up big names and Bonnaroo is going to have to put up just as big of names to remain one of the top dogs. Although someone made a good point when I said something similar to this earlier in that Bonnaroo is a established festival and is going to draw 80k no matter who is on the line up.

Well, there are threads already in motion for that, which was pointed out to you, and to which you completely flew off the handle in a manner that doesn't at all suggest psychiatric issues.

Why do you make it so uncomfortable for people to try post and share their opinions on things. For all the amazing people I've met at roo the past 6 years. I'm super happy I've never linked up with you or any of the negative Nancys who posted reminding me that there was a larger thread with most discussions of nonsense by idiots who don't know what they are saying.
And just to let you know half of the people I listed I severely dislike and never wish them to be at roo but I take others peoples interests into consideration. The all the people I listed are seriously potentials headliners or sub headliners. And my point about purgatory status headliners was very clear. Outkast may Headline Coachella but I think they could easily be 4 or 5 depending on how Potentialy stacked the lineuo could be !
