I think we stayed at a Days Inn last year. You would have to ask to be sure. I am not sure you would like it as much as it is one of those that is on the periphery of walkable distance.

It was. It's a great hotel. Super cheap and the comforts are nice. That said, it's like a 10/20 minute walk to the venues.

Guys, I just had my dream scenario materialize in my mind. Have the body get added. This would be double awesome since The Haxan Cloak is already on the lineup. I would lose my damn mind.

I'll have to see if there's somewhere closer that takes the state employee rate

I forgot to mention this yesterday, but the parking garages are free on nights and weekends. That may help some if you wanted to drive a few blocks but stay somewhere cheap.
Sick lineup! Looking forward to seeing who the other 40 bands are going to be. Does anyone know who IIII is? They are pretty high up on the poster and I can't even google them...

"At Hopscotch the core members of IIII, Hisham Akira Bharoocha (formerly Lightning Bolt/Black Dice, currently Soft Circle/Boredoms), Ryan Sawyer (Lone Wolf), Brian Chase (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Daren Ho (Driphouse/Raccoo-oo-oon), Ben Vida (Soft Circle), and Mathew Watson, will be joined by ten locally based drummers to create a one-time experience where the boundaries between composers and hired musicians are diminished."

Death is also pretty high on my must see list, but I really don't know their music that well... yet...
Just won a wristband. Today has been a very good day.
That makes two years in a row, right? Lucky you!
Yeah. Just GA this year, but it was exciting. The college radio station I used to work for was interviewing Greg, the head guy, and giving away tix. I've got them on speed dial, so as soon as the DJ started staying "alright, we're going to do a giveaway now" I called up. The trivia question was "Who was supposed to headline last year and had to cancel last minute?"
