Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Did you have to haul your stuff back to your vehicle afterwards? You got to park close to TO. I think I'll try entering at that time in the future to avoid the BFE quarantine. Trying to get my gear to camp from there in as few trips as possible busted the tires on my utility cart.
Did the BFE quarantine happen last year? There was plenty of bitching about it in 2012, me included, but I didn't see it mentioned this year.
Yup, same shit as last year. I'd expect the same once again this summer.
Someone on here tried to drive from pod 1 to TO at the end of last year and they wouldn't let him. They made him leave the farm and all his stuff in TO.
That almost happened to me! They wouldn't let us drive back and so I literally just pretended I didn't see people waving me another direction and followed a truck right into centeroo had to drive around for a while. While I was freaking out because I thought we wouldn't be able to get out stuff, I was super excited as I literally drove right through centeroo and practically through That Tent. Eventually we got our stuff though.
When I was coming out of Pod 1 to TO on Monday morning to pack my stuff they tried routing me off the farm. I just drove around them and went where I wanted. What were they going to do, cut off my wristband? There's no fucking way I'm gonna let them make me leave without my stuff.
I am a proverbial shepherd to all of the rooks who join me each year like rats following the pied piper. It's hard enough car camping with some of these folk, they'd never make it in TO. I'd love to do TO one year....one day....one day...
Just bring them all to camp inforoo, with the new merger I am expecting around 150 people this year already.
Is that staying in camp? I feel like there weren't half that many people there staying last year. Still the most fun I've ever had anywhere

Sounds like what happened to me. I actually left the farm and had to go into Manchester and swing around and come back in. Took far too long. I've never wanted to rip a volunteers head off so bad

Now that you all have mentioned it, I do remember security waiving me towards the exit as I left pod 1 this past Roo. I just waived back and drove the direction I needed to go to collect my gear.
When I am at the NYC line-up party I can see if I can speak to one of the Superfly reps (I am assuming someone will be there since it is a block or two from their main office) and see what their plans are for tent only if they are willing to share. If there is something you want me to ask them shoot me a PM.

If AC/Superfly/Illuminati want to tame issues regarding leaving TO:
Set up a shuttle from a Manchester parking lot. Pay lower case $ for the bus ride in with your gear and leave your car. Drops you off nearby.
Included is the bus ride back for you, but... the first shuttle does not start until midnight or whatever after the Sunday headliner is done.
This could work with an RSVP system; they'd have to know in advance through shuttle ticket sales how many were gonna be there. Rope that area off and keep a second section open for those that didn't use the shuttle.
If it is successful the first time or two, I could see them applying the "park off site for TO" with no exceptions eventually.
I will now accept both:
Lifetime VIP passes for Bonnaroo and related festivals for this green, vibey idea.
Scorn from Inforoo TO people who like it the way it is (was?)

Lazy moment here. Quote not a PM Jay. Just see if they'll be keepin' TO policy as it has been over the past few years, and is the space bein' made smaller yet again?

How quickly does Tent Only fill up? I am trying to decide whether or not to go solo this year, since the people I have gone with the past two times aren't available/interested. I think I would feel safer in TO simply since I won't have to risk walking all the way back to POD 10ish (which is where we have always ended up), by myself late at night.
Also. Last year, they had a bathroom that was amazing in pod 10 where we were. I bought a pass on Friday and it was THE BEST $20 I have ever spent. Running water sinks, flush toilets, air conditioned, no smell. It was paradise after a long day in Centeroo. Did they have any of these closer to the entrances?
They keep saying
Don't stop, no one's ever enough
I'll never look back, never give up
And if it gets rough, it's time to get rough
But now I'm falling, falling, falling

I got in pretty early on Thursday this year and there was still a good amount of space left in TO, maybe 10am. It fills up quickly after that though so if you came in the afternoon you'll probably be scrounging for a spot.

Really? I got there at about 3 am on Thursday and had a little bit of trouble finding a spot. I suppose the lack of sunlight didn't really help.
is that like an area where all the "inforooers" camp? sorry, I'm confused. and when is the brunch?
I don't think we have a Camp Inforoo thread yet, so in the mean time check out the Brunch 2014 thread.
Camp Inforoo will be in Tent Only (TO). It is a sprawlin' mass of tents and EZ-Ups with the Inforoo rooster flag usually around the center. Leo also has a flag or two of his son that is flown on be same pole or in the vicinity. Easily the safest and most awesome place to be in the campgrounds.
