I found this new thing called Google image search.
He was referring to the Shetland (which is part of Scotland) flag not Scottish which looks like this:
IF it is indeed a Scottish band, I would say The Proclaimers. Did some research and that 500 miles song was used as a charity thing for the Great North Air Ambulance service or something (I didn't research very WELL, and its an obscure connection, but whatever I don't think it's a Scottish band anyway).
But the colors are inverted, so if the flag is not intended to be Greek, it's much more likely Finnish than Scottish.

Someone hit on this a couple pages back, but did anyone else notice that both main contenders have pretty common words that could be homonyms, finish for Finnish and grease for Greece?
P.S. This is the time of year where I imagine whoever writes these sitting in their office laughing their balls off at us.
Man, everyone in this thread needs to take that color test in the Random Thoughts thread cause I swear you are all color blind.
I got a better score than you. Also, I think several people have acknowledged the issue with Finland is the color is off. The issue with Greece is that the pattern is off. It's all going to depend on which one you think is a bigger deal.

Exactly. Greece has the colors reversed. Finland's blue is wrong. (sorry if you are from Finland).
I wish it was a Swedish flag, because Graveyard would kinda fit. They have a song called The Siren. I saw them the last time they played Bonnaroo and they rocked. Too bad its not a Swedish flag though.
Apocalyptica: from Finland, drummer named Mikko Siren, tour starting in March. Boom.
Wait a damn minute. Are you actually throwing out logical guesses? Have you not read the rules?
P.S. I hope you're wrong.
Ha yeah, I don't see them fitting in on the farm (I mean, I'M a fan, so I don't hope I'm wrong but I'm sure I'm in the minority there). In all reality I think its probably First Aid Kit, but I like some good speculation.

Have you guys not figured out this is Husky Rescue yet? They're a Finnish group that's been around since 2002. They recently had a lineup/format change and now have a new album dropping here in the US in early June.
The Lollaboard got this one pretty easily yesterday.

I understand the logic behind Apocalyptica, but with DEAFHEAVEN being the "metal get" (presumably), I don't know how likely that might be. Plus, who is Roo more likely to book? Drive By Truckers or Apocalyptica? Let's be honest...

That's a common trap people fall into-- they take the likely/confirmed bands and try to make them fit the clue. My approach is to see what acts the clue points to and then determine if they're possible/likely.

You realize that Bonnaroo has had days where an entire stage played host to nothing but metal, right? It's not as if they'd book Deafheaven and be all "well, we did it guys, cross 'metal' off the checklist."
And I honestly feel like a foreign cello band playing symphonic heavy metal covers is just goofy enough where it's right in Bonnaroo's wheelhouse. If you can't see them playing a set in the Other Tent late night Friday than you're insane.
Again, these are all valid points, I did check out Apocalyptica and they've actually been active awhile so I suppose it makes some sort of sense, I'm just not sold on the whole Finland thing. We're completely ignoring the stripes below the cross/box!
If they wanted to do a Greek flag, they would have had a square cross for the left portion of the trailer and blue and white stripes for the right portion. It's much easier for me to see the trailer of the ambulance as the Finnish flag (albeit the shade of blue is questionable)-- rather than an exaggerated Greek cross with reverse colors. Everyone just has a boner for Athens, GA and refuses to see it's a relatively unknown electronic act from Finland who are likely to be touring hard the week after the US release of their first album in 4 years.

Well, you've convinced me it's not Greece. Well done.
