Huge pop for Adam Cole last night. Wondering if Roode is getting called up.
Drew McIntyre said Roode is 100% coming up and expected to be a top 5 guy on whichever brand drafts him. More importantly can we just end this stupid brand split again. It sucked the first time and still sucks. Raw is always going to be better and aj is being wasted on smackdown
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

There are too many worthy rivalries to carry out this stupid brand split. Plus, the story telling has been garbage. Balor has been poorly utilized in the same manner as Styles. They could have really built up the emergence of the demon v bray. That could have started with a match at Great Balls of Fire. Summerslam was really bad. It almost felt like a weekly episode. Shield reunion is cool though, but mostly because they are giving it time to develop.

There's far too many ppvs. Nothing feels special. As stupid as it sounds to see the same set design as every raw last night was a real bummer. When you can't even do anything different and invest for your second biggest show of the year why should I invest in the story/matches?

I was thinking the same re: stage design. Every event growing up had a unique look. Some of my favorite events stand out specifically because venue and stage design alone (WM 9, Summerslam '92, etc). This one just felt like more of a filler event. Like they couldn't even get out some fireworks for Brock's entrance? I don't know who is booking atm, but it's so scattered and feels like a waste of talent. 'Woken' Hardy's, for example, couldn't even get booked on the actual show? They got the biggest pop at mania and could be some of the biggest singles competitors on the roster, but instead it looks like they are left to get new teams like the revival over.

Yeah, I was planning on just catching it the next day on the Network, but I'm going to have to try to get out of work early for this to watch live. Of course, Kurt coming back is huge, but I really hate that they are kind of wasting it on this... also, the fact that it's Kurt in a TLC match scares the shit out of me. If they absolutely had to have Angle come back for this event (and I don't really see why they would), I think better thing to do would be to put AJ in the TLC match and Angle in the Balor match. However, I am in no way complaining about Balor vs. AJ... that should be amazing. I can't think of a WWE PPV match I've been more psyched for in the last few years. All of this is awesome and definitely an upgrade to what was looking to be an unspectacular one match show, I really hope the whole reason this is happening doesn't become an even bigger situation and the ill wrestlers get healthy soon.
Off the topic of WWE stuff and on to Lucha Underground... did anyone see the Killshot vs. Dante Fox 2/3 falls match? If you can stomach it, it's one of the craziest matches I've seen in the last decade, and certainly one of the craziest matches I've seen take place on US soil. There were some things about this match that really bothered me and it's insane to think that 1) a wrestling company would allow their performers to do something like this and 2) that any television network would allow this on tv. That said, these two guys gave it their all and showed some amazing athleticism, though overshadowed by the crazy violence in the match. There was even some really great storytelling here, too. In a year with some of the best matches to have ever taken place in the industry, this is still a top 10 MOTYC, though on the lower end.

At least we don’t have to suffer through a very bad Jason Jordan angle before we see Kurt in action again. Tonight’s match feels pointless, but that story has just been stupid. Now we don’t have to sit through all of that before we get the payoff of seeing him in the ring.
Turned it on just for the main event and I couldn't help but look away for every bump Angle took. I'm sorry but I can't get excited to watch a guy who has broke his freaking neck and has 5000 concussions. Kurt Angle is an all-time great and is great in the ring but I just imagine the worst every time he hits the mat, or floor, or table or etc. By the way, how many times can Ambrose bounce off a table without breaking it? He was legit laughing after one of those botches.

Supposedly WWE is considering reforming the NWO after Mania, to combat all the Bullet Club merch/hype.
They should just let aj, Finn, gallows and Anderson do their thing. They’d be a money machine but vince doesn’t like anything that isn’t his idea.
Yeah apparently the match on Sunday between Finn and AJ was the second back up plan. After Bray got sick they contacted Jericho to do it first, but he wasnt available.
I have Survivor Series tickets and I have been pumped for it all year - right about until they reveled the card. None of these matches have me excited at all. Shield v Usos, Corbin v Miz, Brock v Mahal, meh. This is my first SV, so I was hoping for a much better event - especially considering it's one of the big 4. I honestly wish they would just go back to the format of having teams themed for a night of elimination matches.

Witnessing the reaction Finn and aj got should have been enough for them to all realize what the fans want

Shield vs Uso’s will be quality. No doubt about that. The rest however.....

This is what the fans want, pal.
I don’t really even hate Roman like that. Yeah he’s got the personality of a bag of rocks but I’ve enjoyed enough of his matches through the past year or two. I’m just not ready for a title reign that will undoubtedly go longer than punks starting at mania. I could forgive it though if the strap is put on aj quickly and he gets a great run. That’s all I want. Give that man everything

Def been worse guys than Roman who have gotten the rocket strapped to their back (Luger for god sakes). Just the fact that we have known what the main event for next years Mania would be for some time and what the outcome of that would be; just kind of makes watching a bit less enjoyable. They did the same nonsense with Cena for years on end.

I would be cool with a Roman run if it also meant a Shield-Club program, but unfortunately I think that will go just long enough for Ambrose to turn heel.
Just imagine how much more interesting Roman's story could have been if he aligned himself with Vince against HHH in Dallas or something. The turn that should have happened and we'll never get.
Kurt, Braun, Finn, Roman, & Joe vs Shane, Naka, AJ, Orton, and Roode has me a bit more excited (even if Miz and Corin is a butt). Lots of old rivalries to play with in that group.
I've learned to just not take WWE seriously usually and treat it more like pop music, the good stuff is great but I'm not expecting the most popular product to consistently the best. Braun is friking great though, Ambrollins V Usos should be great, Jinder's reign is just fucking funny at this point. I recently canceled my network sub to subscribe to watch PWG and don't regret it thus far.

PWG has a subscription service? I was unaware... I used to watch PWG and pick up their DVDs when I'd find them for sale at indie shows around here (when there actually used to be some). The old El Generico, Super Dragon, Steen days when they'd have guest spots from the best of ROH and FIP as well. I hear they are on fire right now, though. I'll have to check some of the shows from this year out.
As a 90's kid, it's nice to have access to some of the old WWF stuff for nostalgia (especially old Raws and things I attended), so that's a huge selling point for me.
Doing a ROH event the night before SS instead of spending another night in Houston for NXT.

Meant subscribed to Highspots I left that out accidentally. They got loads of stuff on there, AAW, CZW, WxW. But PWG shows are uploaded a year later. So the most recent show they have is last years BOLA.
