This was the single most disappointing moment of the weekend imo.
Agreed. Especially as the second last (I think it was second last) match. Figured it was going to be a big surprise like Bray, Mysterio (online rumors were saying), or Big Show since he just re-signed.
I always figured Sasha and Bailey would eliminate eachother. I was hoping they were going to give the win to someone like Ruby Riot to be honest. It would have given her some momentum and created a new star.
Jinder winning was definitely a disappointment. Guessing it is part of some plan though. I am thinking Jinder and Rollins are going to swap brands next week. I wish theyd use Rusev better with how over he is, but hey at least he is on TV. And he's working Taker! And Taker is going to literally bury him lol.
I thought Braun's tag partner choice was pretty funny. But dropping the belts the next night killed it for me. They could have done some really funny skits with him and that kid. Seems like a missed opportunity. Guessing Braun is heading to Smackdown next week too.
I always thought that 4 way was going to be a filler match. Only reason it was even on Mania and not the kick off was because Orton was involved. Tag matches I also assumed would just be fluff. They have to use certain matches to fill time and give the crowd room to breathe.
AJ/Nak was good but not great. But I am absolutely loving heel Nak so far. It really reinvigorated his character and I am thinking this feud is not over yet. They are going to have some good/great matches to come.
Like I said before. This main event was the worst main event ... Since last year. Roman vs Hunter and Roman vs Taker were way worse closers than this one. And I liked the swerve finish (even though I fully expect Roman to win the belt at Greatest RR).
I don't know. I thought Mania was a lot of fun and enjoyed watching. But I see a lot of people with the opinion that it sucked.
It was a waste of Braun after the hell of a year he had. He should have had a solid mid-card match, or at least the Andrea the Giant trophy. Just some kind of accolade.
Heel Shinsuka is one of the few silver linings I took out of this.
Totally. Braun should have been in Roman's spot; and he never should have worked with Brock prior. But Vinny Mac gonna be Vinny Mac.
Had a complete blast at Mania. Ended up missing the first few matches at ROH due to getting day drunk at Freret St Free fest (Mike Dillon ftw) and sleeping through my alarm.
Cody vs Omega was cool to see in person but I wasn't blown away or anything. I honestly don't have time to watch more than Raw and WWE PPVs so I'm not up to date on Bullet Club stuff.
Got into Hall of fame on Fri for $13, left pretty early though, as no one should hear Hillbilly Jim speak for 45 mins. Dudleys were really cool though.
Impact vs. Lucha was a ton of fun. Del Rio no-showed, but it didn't matter. I knew Steiner would be there but didn't know he was actually wrasslin', he came out in Wolfpac gear and squashed a jabroni with the Steiner Recliner. My 90's feels were set off
Mania overall was a total blast. I loved the ending. I love seeing Brock Lesnar beat people down and I completely hate Roman Reigns so while most people were pissed I was super happy.
Basically everyone I wanted to win won. I dig Nakamura but Styles has been my guy for like 15 years. Awesome seeing him go heel though, I think he'll be used better that way.
Charlotte match was prob the highlight overall. I'm a Charlotte mark though. Rousey match was super fun, the D-Bry return was very emotional for the crowd as well.
Undertaker squash match was great. I've been down with Taker since the very beginning so getting to see him again is always special. The Elias psych out before hand was my fav non -wrasslin part of the night. We were cheesing out hard. "Put your phones down, hold your applause and shut your mouths!" Great heel. Hipster Honkey Tonk Man
The Braun part was the most fun of the night. Everyone there sure as hell seemed to love it. Nicholas pop was insane as was the chants. Braun didn't need a partner and I thought this was a great swerve and will get more people on board with him for his eventual title push.
Oh yea, the Nia Jax going over was a def highlight. I've been all about her since she came out in NXT and the angle they put on body posi with her was great. Also didn't realize they have Finn Balor as LGBT man either.
The main criticism I have is Roman kicking out of FIVE F5s. That is complete BS. Taker got pinned with three. After their program who can really beat Roman besides Lesnar?
I know wrasslin' is scripted but c'mon, don't make it so hard for me to play along.

Just watch being The Elite on youtube man. Doesnt take long and is very enjoyable.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

NXT tomorrow and then doing Comedians of Wrestling w/ Dolph Ziggler afterward. Its stand up where all the jokes have to be about wrestling. BBQ at my friends place Sunday for Summerslam. Basically like Bonnaroo but with wrestling for me this weekend.
I did NXT Brooklyn the past two times. Usually a last minute, cheap stubhub ticket. Not sure I'll be doing that again but they've been fun.
Three years running for me. NXT BK never disappoints. This is the last year they are going to do it over Summerslam weekend so I feel like I have to go.. Next year they are going to have it the night before Mania; but the NJPW/ROH show at MSG is going to be happening the same night. This might be the last NXT special I attend.
Really excited for Adam Cole vs Riccochet and Ciampa/Gargano always deliver.
Yea, the main event will be awesome. I'll be checking stubhub during the day but probably just gonna watch at home. We'll see
Well if you snag a ticket and wanna meet up; Ill be at the KBH down the street from Barclays from around 4 till show time with a whole group of wrestling nerds

Shining Wizards?
No but I am surprised someone around here knows who Shining Wizards are. I have known Kevin for over 20 years. We're both from West Orange. Didnt realize people actually listened to his pod.
KBH is hosting the Solomonster meet up. But honestly we arent even really going for that. Its just a really awesome Biergarten and close to Barclays.
And by the way this Joey Janella show I am at right now is awesome. Sabu and Sandman have shown up.

I really hope he pulls through. Fan of him as a wrestler or not I feel for the guy. Apparently now Brock and Braun at crown jewel for the vacant title. Are they really going to put the belt back on Brock?

Oh wow. Didn’t even realize it was going to come down to that. I think there is a real chance of just that. I know it was just a show but I feel bad for booing him all those years. Had no idea he had been battling it since he was 22.

Oh yeah I still booed him pretty much just out of habit now because he really had progressed so much in every facet of the job. Irl he seems like a stand up guy and hopefully he’ll be alright

I realize that we were expecting this, but I’m honestly not all that excited about it. I get too that these guys could be wasted in WWE, but I hate to see hem tied up in a new company because they’ll obviously be there for awhile. At least they will have a platform to do things their way. The roster though just looks like ROH. I did notice though that they weren’t following Kenny Omega which seemed a little weird.

I wish nothing but success and hopefully the khan dude or whatever from the Jaguars goes full ted turner and we can get some real stateside competition to wwe. I see this as nothing but a good thing

I was able to attend All In and had an absolute blast, but my excitement has definitely died down in the last few months. I'm just ready to find out more information at this point (roster, tv deal, etc.).
I'm really hoping the Omega twitter thing and not appearing in the announcement video is more of a finishing out his NJPW contract before being associated with a different promotion type of a situation. If he ultimately decides not to join them it would be a huge blow to the roster.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Rumors are that Omega and Scurl are meeting with the McMahons now. That would definitely take away from All Elite’s starpower. I suppose their final commitment is Wrestle Kingdom? I could see them throwing out crazy money at him, especially since the other guys turned down their deal. Also suspect that Cody’s contract was for much lower than he deserved. Working as the star of AEW is definitely his best bet.
a cousin of mine wrestles in the wwe and raw is in town tonight. seeing facebook flooded with my middle aged aunts and uncles at the arena in wrestling tshirts is absolutely adorable.
