Can someone in this thread, or the other thread, update the OP with each new band that is confirmed tonight? Is that the plan? I'll be late to BLAM and I want to see what I've missed when I'm able to join.
Work sucks today. I've been slow all week and today I have a shit ton to do and all I want to do is mess around on here.
Nashville - If anyone wants to come out to my place for BLAM tonight, now's the time to let me know! Gonna be about a dozen or so people there already. Got a roast in the crock pot and other tasty munchies

What a great move it is on the part of Bonnaroo to do this event. So much cooler than just dropping a lineup poster on us at an unspecified time. I love the excitement in the air, even if it is at the cost of of workplace productivity for many.
Anybody making their own feast today for BLAM? Before I went to the office today I bought me a NY Strip, half a pound of shrimp, a large potato, and six pack of tall boys. Thought about bringing my smoker to work and making some ribs, but, last time I did that the other people on the bottom floor of my office building didn't appreciate smelling hickory smoke all day.

Us west coast peeps don't have much time after work before the shindig starts, so I'm planning on having something delivered so I don't have to fuss with dinner.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Missing the first 30-45 minutes of BLAM due to my commute
Do yall think the lineup wont drop until the 9:00-9:30 portion and the rest will be music/jokes/archived performances?
Yes, I believe the lineup will only be released in the 9-930 slot. Maybe there'd be one or two surprise announcements in the pre-show thing but overall the entire lineup will be at 9
7PM EST - BLAM! Pre-Party with 2 hours of legendary LIVE cover song performances from artists including Dave Matthews Band, Tenacious D, Kings Of Leon, Phish, fun., The Lumineers, Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket, J.Cole and more! 9PM EST - It's BLAM! time!

Anyone else having a small thought that maybe the fact that it hasn't leaked is because only a few people know about it due to some big surprise or something? I mean all of these end up leaking the day of for all festivals usually. Especially if we *supposedly* know all the big names already (I still think they throw us for a loop tonight with a name or two we didn't really consider. NOT Daft Punk though. Let's drop that before it starts)

I'm not very technologically inclined, so I feel like I just went through the 9 circles of hell trying to get the Bonnaroo app on our Xbox. Had to reboot the wifi to even find the app, dig up the password for my little used Microsoft account, answer security questions, etc. So, it's downloaded now, when will I know if it's actually going to work come BLAM time?

Nah, they've just gotten better. Every year there's been some kind of "leak" but they always avoid it the next year.
One year someone stumbled upon the lineup page that was put up too early. They don't do that anymore.
One year someone (I think the Roots) posted the press release to Myspace that listed the full lineup. I think they stopped giving bands the full lineup after that.
One year it was some local TN news site that started to upload photos of the acts on the lineup in preparation of an article....but the images that were uploaded were appearing somewhere and it leaked a bunch.
I think they're getting better. Mastodon just leaked that they are playing. I expect some more. NOt sure we'll get a full lineup leak but it could happen at some point.

I wonder if this shindig will be on Youtube? I'd really like to use Chromecast to watch this on my TV instead of my laptop.
Even if it's not you should be able to cast it from Chrome itself. Using browser/tab casting or whatever.
I was wondering this myself. Only had my Chromecast since Christmas but I dont think I can cast a browser or even most apps. I believe there are only certain apps that work with it, Youtube being one of them.
