Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Got a few questions in my inbox from a lot of people I thought I'd address -
"Are we getting Outkast?" - Sadly, probably not. Schedule for them is tricky, as their camp caught wind that Bonnaroo was considering other options early on. If some breakthrough happened in the past week or two, I haven't heard about it. Possible that they'd play late night after Kanye but highly unlikely.
"PRINCE?!" - Not this year. Defiantly in the future though. McCartney took years to work out, and so will Prince.
MMJ? - Again, likely not. Extremely likely for next year though.
Now for some info I haven't given out in our monthlong courting process - My info is about two or so weeks old by the time I get it. The office I used to work for that I have contact with now is periphery and is involved with fringe marketing. Don't want to give out too much since the gang I worked with is still there and I don't want to get them in hot water, but I'd happy to be give specifics in a PM if anyone wants. (And no Snob, giving you info that would get my old friends fired if that info were used without the most honorable of intent, is NOT cool.) Remember the Star Wars quote that "Many Bothans died to bring you this information?" It'd be kind of like that. That said, they get preliminary stuff to start getting some work done starting around October, juicy stuff really starts coming around New Years.
I know many of you question my authenticity, and frankly I don't care. I'd have been wrong on a few things after tonight, and I still won't care. I'll never be as good a source for you guys as Insider, and am happy to relay what I happen to have to pass on. I just thought it would be fun now that I have a new job outside of the Bonnaroo staff sphere of influence to be a part of this culture, it was really hard to leave my old job and lose a lot of connection with that community. Playing along here has been a fun way to fill that void that I dearly miss. See you around!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Oh I'll be honest I know nothing about Disclosure. As far as most of the lower undercard goes, I was just snooping for what I was interested in.
You think there is any chance for a surprise on the higher end of the card that we didn't really expect at this point or we have completely overlooked?
I'd expect one or two surprises on the top half or top third of the card, yeah. There's one name I heard being thrown around back in January that would blow your mind in an awesome kind of WTF way if it came through.

what possible reason could you have not to tell us right now then? A) it would prove what you've been saying B) its so late it would have no negative effect on B'Roo's announcement C) I really want to know
please?
EDIT: I promise not to peep a word of doubt if the act isn't on the card tonight.
Well I can almost guarantee it won't happen, but you've heard the Third Eye Blind stuff right? (They're likely in, btw) The bookers love that kind of "that's ridiculous, but I'd love to see them" kind of thing that really gives a lot of variance and eclectic nature to the lineup.
Just picture three long haired blonde teenage guys from the 90's and you'll know what I'm talking about - And don't diss them, they're actually kind of awesome.

this was my first concert. if this were to happen i'd crack the fuck up and my inner 8 year old would be soo happy.

Haha it is still bugging me about the whole "wait, is Zedd really that top EDM act out there?" If so they need to sprinkle some pretty good people throughout the undercard hopefully because he would be a bit underwhelming
OMG they were my first show too - I was one of those obsessed little girls back in the 90's
me too. i was so in love with zach. i saw them on a mall tour. it's one of my fondest memories! i had to crawl in between peoples legs to see through the glass... we were on like the 2nd or 3rd floor above them. such a silly day!
This is not meant to be an insult at all. But as soon as someone expresses any type of fondness toward Hanson, you automatically know what age demographic they are. If you were 18 or older in 1996/7 when that came out, you absolutely hate Hanson. At least thats been my experience.

this is pretty much true.
but why does my age matter? i can't help the year i was born. and the year i was born dictates what was popular when i was little.
my mom played a lot of reggae and oldies when i was younger too though. i was singing along to bob marley, steel pulse, and gregory isaacs when i was 8 as well...

All these people talking about being bored and unproductive at work and I'm just sitting here trying to keep my head above water during our busiest month of the year. HELP!
