I've been hearing them a lot lately in stores, random radio, and coming on shuffle. I've been getting pumped up for them. Tons of great songs to sing along to. Seem them in 08 and they made me a fan. Would love to see them now that I actually know more songs.(first and only time I've won tickets to a concert)

I saw that tour in 08 (Peterson Event Center in Pittsburgh) and loved it. Saw them before that in 05 in Cleveland with Weezer and thought they were great then, too. From everything I read, they never have an off night and regularly play at least 2.5 hours. I'd say with a new album in the works they're extremely likely in 2015, especially since we had our dream crushed for this year today.
The only positive about them not playing is that they've said it'll be a big year anyway so that'll mean new album + a tour and as much as I want them at Roo, I would take one of their own 3 hour stadium shows over a festival set any day. And yeah maybe next year!

But. This year would of been the best. They will be doing a stadium tour next year with the new album so most likely will be seeing them twice. Good news is I dont think Firefly will get anything that you havent seen from a live FF set. They are being pretty secretive with the new material.

Hahaha believe me, I know! I've seen a lot more than a lot of people, I'm sure. And I think people think I'm more upset about them not being there than I am -- sure obviously want them there and was really thinking/hoping they'd finally be there this year, but I'm over it. I'm still excited as ever to see the full lineup and to go back so it's not a big deal. I just like to be dramatic and joke around hahaha
1. Foo Fighters - Never saw them live, remember getting their first album when it came out in 8th grade. Got a little extra dusty during These Days. Then The Holy Shits. Enough said.

Only on the condition that they work one or two more tracks off of "There is Nothing Left to Lose" into their setlist--preferably ditching Generator and adding Aurora or Ain't it the Life.
I think they will take advantage of the US Festival circuit next year, on the strength of the upcoming album release, and would put them as highly likely as one of the headliners. I'm surprised they haven't already played actually.

I've been wanting Foo Fighters since after my first roo in 2012! I hope next year will be the year. They can really JAM on their songs. Look up Stacked Actors and Monkey Wrench live. Seen them 4 times and they are so quacking loud and play for super long. And Dave Grohl always brings good vibes to the table so he will fit right in.
Of course. They'll be actively touring. They'll be doing a first US leg in the fall, world tour starting in February, and hopefully they'll be able to hit the festival circuit over the summer.
