After 15 years of festival planning it appears Foos aren't very high on Bonnaroo's want list. They've played all the other major US festivals. I suppose it's just never worked out with the bands schedule. I was always shocked Fleet Foxes never played the farm.

Yeah, that's my impression as well. I really thought they would be a lock for 2015 given the new album, their 20-year anniversary, and the fact they've never played Roo. The absence of Fleet Foxes is another surprise, but I fully expect them if/when they tour their next album (2016?).

I just talked to a friend that thinks them playing Europe on Friday doesn't rule them out for Saturday or Sunday of Bonnaroo. Anyone else share this opinion or is my friend delusional?

They have shows June 10th, 12th, and the 14th in Europe. Your friend is bat shit insane if he thinks they're playing Bonnaroo

What do you mean by that? Strong openers? I am considering buying a ticket to the Camden date when they go up, but if Citi Field has a stronger bill I could be convinced to attend that date instead.

Google search didn't really tell me anything. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the beat the bot presale? Was just hoping someone here might know and could give me a straight answer. Thanks anyway guys!

dunno what kind of tour dates you normally look at, but special characters next to a date almost always indicate who will be opening for that particular show.

@jonesjupiter already helped me out, thanks though!
Man, the last two episodes of Sonic Highways have been awesome!!! I thought the LA episode was the best and then they immediately topped it with the New Orleans episode. Makes me all the more excited for when Grohl finally makes it to the Farm and hosts a superjam
Sonic Highways Episode Rankings: LA = DC > New Orleans > Austin > Chicago > Nashville
I score it: New Orleans>LA>Chicago>Austin>DC>Nashville. Damn I really need to scratch New Orleans off my bucket list. Anybody care to do a New Orleans/Memphis/Nashville road trip over 11-14 days?
Personal list
Austin>Chicago>Nashville>DC>LA>New Orleans
Foos in NOLA with Pres. Hall just didn't seem to work for me.

That's kind of what I did in '11 except I went Wakarusa/Memphis/Nashville/Bonnaroo/New Orleans. That was a great two weeks but I never take that much time off in a row anymore. If you haven't been to New Orleans you should definitely go. It has interesting culture and history, delicious food, and beautiful architecture.
