Milo Greene has a new single out and album comes out Jan. 27th. They had a great set their first time on the farm and the fact that they switch instruments every few songs was really impressive live.
New single is good. With a new album coming, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in a tent on a day besides Thursday.

The Districts just announced a new full-length LP for February 10th.
They've already come out with the first single here.
It's just as good as their other work (their s/t EP is honestly my favorite 2014 release), and I feel like they could be headed for a late-Thursday or a daytime slot.
If they returned to Lolla nest year that would be awesome too, but that's beside the point.*
* I was front row at their Lolla 2014 set, and it was in my top 5 sets of the weekend. So much energy live, and very much so worth checking out.

The Districts were fantastic at Lolla. Their mic got cut out on that awful Lake shore stage, and they still just kept singing. A testament to an artist who loves their work and isn't just in it for the money. Really hope they show up on the farm, I'm sure we would have 3 solid opportunities to catch them. A cafe set, maybe a Q&A set, and a set on like Sunday early in the day or a thurs early evening set.
Father John Misty just announced an album and tour for early next year. Looks almost definite he'll be at Coachella. I really hope he makes it to Roo as well.

Afternoon tent I assume
yeah I missed his set for japandroids and alt-j in retrospect I'd have watched part if his set and no japandroids

But Japandroids were awesome
I've seen them multiple times in Gainesville and liked them, so I skipped them at roo for FJM (I'd already seen alt-j as well before they got so popular) but I heard terrible things about Japandroids show at roo.

their set was just ok in my opinion but I heard FJ M ruled
1. Paul McCartney: absolutely the best show I've ever been to in my life 2. Tom Petty: Man he can still rock 3. Twenty One Pilots: craziest show I've ever been to, Tyler and Josh are some of the best performers out there. 4. The Lumineers: Great live, sounded so good 5. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis: Crazy show, super energetic, I think everyone had a great time 6. Matt and Kim 7. Empire of the Sun 8. Tame Impala 9. Alt-J 10. Jack Johnson

Saw Joey Bada$$ last weekend and it was pretty fun. Would be pretty cool to see him in like Pusha T's spot unless he's more popular than that, I don't know.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Saw Primus and the Chocolate Factory last night and it was one of my favorite shows ever. I really hope/expect Bonnaroo to book this show in the LN Which spot and I pity the fool who misses it.
Oh, I forgot, because I went to Hulaween last weekend, I fully support seeing Thievery Corporation, Shpongle (one of my favorite DJ sets ever), Rising Appalachia, Green Sky Bluegrass, and Beats Antique being on the farm next year
Noel Gallagher and his high flying birds are releasing a new album in March. The first single has lists of tour dates and says "Japan and North America 2015". Japan tour dates have been announced for April. Take that for what it's worth. We could just make the Damon Albarn spot a permanent Brit-rocker spot.
Just caught Tame Impala at the Beacon. It was my first time seeing them. God damn. They need a late night set.
Fully supported, they'd tear it downnnn. (Though I may skip em for a conflicting act since I've seen em already) Such a great live band, they killed it in 2013, one of the best shows of the weekend for sure

Sounds good to me, although Greensky Bluegrass was there last year. I'm not familiar with rising Appalachia.

Two weird sisters that grew up in a hippy family and started making their own brand of soulful/folky Appalachian string band music back in 2008... It's a nice chill act, their style would fit perfectly as the first or second act on the What stage one day, though I'm not sure they're big enough to be anywhere but a tent.
