So in light of the headliner news, here are some people who would actually get me excited for roo...
-Robyn and Royksopp (Robyn was great at the farm) -HAIM (I know they are working on new material, so it would be amazing to see them bring some of that out) -Dawes -Yelle -Sia (Maybe she's qualified as a semi-headliner? anyway, I think she would fit in well at roo) -Julian Casablancas + The Voidz (saw them and liked it. It's not for everyone though. I'll admit that.) -Feist (I have no idea what she is up to, but I'd love to see her again at roo!) -Sucre (definitely will not be there, but I would love for her to get that kind of exposure) -The Ton Tons (not well known enough, so I'm not expecting it)
Edit: Bjork would also make things more exciting. I realize she is also probably considered a semi-headliner.
Sia would be amazing, but it was my understanding that she's very weird about large-scale live performances and rarely does festivals.
Maybe she will if they let her perform behind a curtain

No Tennessee date and June is wide open after Governor's Ball...Looks very promising!
Anyone know how likely Toro Y Moi is this year since he's playing Coachella?
Him in Washed Out's spot would be perfecto
That was one of my first thoughts when I looked at the coachella lineup. The people that I know that have seen Toro y Moi said they sound awful live though, which would break my heart

I went back to Roo lineup from last year, and I counted about 50 acts on there that I was excited to see when the lineup was announced. That's roughly a third of the acts. Right now for 2015, I have almost 15. Aside from Mumford, I'm excited for the lineup. All I need is maybe 10 more to seal the deal.
Phantogram, Modest Mouse, Hall and Oates, The Decemberists, Beck, DFA 1979, TVOTR, Passion Pit, Brand New, System of a Down, Grimes, Tyler the Creator, Feist, KT Tunstall, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Sky Ferreira, Gramatik, Royal Blood,

I would love to see her at Roo. Her show at Ani Difranco's venue last year was my favorite show of 2014, and she very well could be my favorite again this year haha. Seeing her in March in Rochester, NY. Unless she goes up against someone I am dying to see, a must see every time!

Last year had about the same for me. With additions and after I listened to some of the ones I didn't know it was around 80. I probably could have made 4 or 5 completely different schedules (except headliners) and had an equally good time. I'm expecting this year to only be a little below that which is absolutely fine. There's also the chance that it's even better because I just know and like more and more artists every year. MMJ, Florence, Run the Jewels, Robert Plant and Kendrick is enough to get me really excited

I'm curious if RTJ will get that LN similar to chance after a righteous Superjam, or if they'll get LN on thurs. I mean Pusha T played on thurs, and he's more well known than RTJ. Hmm. Barring any major conflicts, this is a must see act. I caught half of their set before getting a prime spot for Chromeo at Lolla, and I was like dayummmm! Now with RTJ II in their arsenal, this show is gonna be a major rush of adrenaline.

The only reason I'll miss them is if it's a really bad conflict. I'll be seeing them open for Jack White at the end of this month (super stoked for that pairing) but that'll be nothing compared to what their Roo show will be

Woah! I missed that entirely. RTJ into Jack White? Well slap my ass and call me Sally, that's a great combo haha.
Hell yeah! I must've been standing damn near right next to you at roo, haha. Hopefully they play an afternoon tent on Friday or Saturday this year
I want them back so bad!! their show at first ave is still toward the top of the all-time best shows I've seen there. when they were done the crowd was going absolutely apeshit, and they came back on stage and were just like, "sorry guys... we literally have no more songs to play... we only have 1 album... we wish we could keep playing for you!" everyone refused to believe there wouldn't be an encore because it was that good.
