Nicolas Jaar prodigious master house, is behind many fascinating projects. And when the producer is looking for a guitarist to form a duo, one he whispers the name of Dave Harrington. The bassist then traded his instrument to become the mistress of guitar Darkside . Both establish a connection and idyllic and frolic with sound experiments. Their Daftside manages to upset Random Access Memories by completely remixing. And their album Psychic magnifies the duo with dark electronic yawing. Blues on a guitar and the haunting slow arrangements sounds Nicolas Jaar , Darkside has everything a music of the future ... and it is not the scenography of the collective Children of the Light that will convince us otherwise.
Darkside playing 11pm at Coachella. I'm becoming more and more convinced that they are only agreeing to evening festival shows. Will keep an eye out for other schedules.
I just watched the stream of their performance on Coachella's Youtube page and I got to say they are in my Top 3 for Roo this year. It's going to be an incredible late night show.

Completely agree. I hope they are a Friday night set at Roo so I'll have plenty of dancing energy!

You guys are in for a treat at Roo. Don't know where their wormhole mirror went. I guess time constraints didn't allow for them to set it up at Coachella. It's still gonna be a heady performance though. I love this band so much.

There is no way in hell I'm missing this set again at Bonnaroo. My expectations going into this show were definitely exceeded and then some. Kinda pissed I passed them up at MOEMS last fall.

I regret leaving their set to go to Disclosure.
That was my plan, but then I couldn't leave. I still have yet to see Disclosure despite going to the 3 festivals they've been at.
Don't know where their wormhole mirror went. I guess time constraints didn't allow for them to set it up at Coachella.
It was too windy for the mirror set up (60mph gusts). I hope they have it at Bonnaroo and are appropriately scheduled in a tent at night to make full use of it because they didn't have it at MOEMS and I want to see it!
Also, Nicolas Jaar's solo set in the Yuma tent was amazing.
