So I'm seeing them on April 1st, they were going to be in this tiny hole in the wall cafe place. I purchased my tickets last week in case it sold out, this place is really tiny. But today I got an email that they changed the venue to a much bigger, comparatively, place "due to demand." Glad to see them moving on up and getting some much deserved recognition!! And really, the venue change just gives me more room to dance so I'm pretty happy!!
We may have to have an Inforoo meetup for this show.
I love when the bands I love are still up and coming playing everywhere they can to be seen. Just saw that SPBB are playing a small festival about 30 miles from us in Thomson, GA on May 10th. Los Lobos are headlining which isnt a bad bonus. I have not seen Los Lobos in at least a decade and to get to see St Paul for a second time prior to Roo and it be so close to our house is just fantastic news.

Just heard these guys on the radio yesterday and needless to say I'm pretty excited for their set now! I would love to catch that Columbus show on the 1st, but with the drive and it being on a Tuesday I think I have to rule it out.

I am seeing them tomorrow night in DC at Rock and Roll Hotel. I work for PBR and I stopped by yesterday to drop off some bar mats and asked if the box office was open and the owner (who I am decent friends with through work) asked what I wanted tickets for and I said "Saturday for the St. Paul and the Broken Bones show" and he goes "Aw that sucks! Its sold out!......... But I'll put you and your girl on the guest list." USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA

Nice! I enjoyed the one or two times I caught a show at the Rock 'N' Roll Hotel. Pretty groovy place.
I thought Lincoln Hall was the perfect venue for them but playing SPACE is even better. I don't know if they are planning on doing tables or a GA floor but it's going to be nuts. Tickets on sale in 40 minutes.
I've never been there yet. Evanston might as well be the moon to me.
Omg. I can't wait to do my band a day on them. Just left their show. Talked to the trombone player for almost an hour. So nice. Such a good show. And he's an avid bonarooer & gave me some corn for free! Ugh. I'm over the moon right now. Such a good night!!
Can't really put into words how last night was. Every sort of expectation I had going into it was absolutely blown away. Freaking amazing. I left thinking Grass is Greener is an absolute monster of a song and will never listen to it the same after seeing them play it live. Great cover in the encore of Let a Me Roll It. Hope they can continue to make more badass music for years to come!!

Great news today!! Schedule change at the May 10th Blind Willie McTell blues festival in Thomson, GA and SP+BB are no longer opening the festival as the 12 noon band!! I am guessing it is because they have been blowing up so much the last couple months but they are now the 3:45 band!!! We certainly would have been there to see them for a noon start but far prefer the 3:45 slot. Plus now we are more apt to stay through the headlining Los Lobos at 6:30. Cant wait for Paul to take us to church again.
Side note... how awesome would it be for Paul Janeway to show his pipes for a song or two at the Superjam!
Came across this today. I think it's always neat to see the progress of artists. Six years later, Paul Janeway has changed but kept the same basis of his music. Pretty cool to see the similarities and differences of this to SP&TBB.

This is a conflict for me because I really want to see Vintage Trouble - discovered both after seeing the lineup, may have to split my time. The Vintage Trouble singer doesn't have quite the range of this guy, but he's just as dynamic a frontman.

Pretty bummed because I had a ticket to see these guys in a pretty small venue recently. Unfortunately the show got moved back a few days to where I couldn't go to it. Looking forward to the Bonnaroo set to finally see them.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
