Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I could see them doing a surprise show or set with Umphrey's at night. Maybe a parade band or a pop-up show like they've done with some acts the past couple years.
hey now, I think you're on to something here! That would be pretty awesome
Can they just hurry up and announce that Jeff Tweedy Superjam already; Featuring Jeff Tweedy, Wayne Coyne, Joe Russo, Ben Folds, and special guests TBA.
I would be glad if there was a Jeff Tweedy superjam because I would completely lose interest in it instantly, freeing up a conflict.
edit: even typing his name triggered a brief narcoleptic episode for me

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
For reals... If this turns out to be the real schedule it is the worst Bonnaroo has ever put out.. It honestly would make me regret buying a ticket... Spend half the day with absolutely nothing I really want to watch and then 3-5 acts I actually care about all on at the same time, every day. Such bollox.

Saturday for the freaking win. The only conflict for me is Nick Cave and Flaming Lips. And, despite seeing Nick a handful of times and never seeing Flaming Lips play a proper set, I don't see how I can miss Nick. Also, now I'm probably going single day, definitely going to Catbird Seat on Thursday, and probably flying home on Sunday.
Thursday: Catbird Seat Friday: Explore Nashville. Saturday: First Aid Kit > DAMON FREAKING ALBARN > Phosphorescent > Many beers > Jack White > Nick Cave > Kaskade or something something something Darkside Sunday: Fly home

Is this your first Bonnaroo? I don't think I've known anyone to take full days off from the fest, is why I ask. Especially after coming such a long way!
Have you listened to the other bands Thursday, Friday, & Sunday? It would be a shame to feel like you missed out on something you like down the road (I speak from experience).

Two sets have me really curious based on the schedule. There are always some surprises at Roo. Nowhere near the extent of Coach, but still some. So I'm going to guess.
1. Damon Albarn. Bobby's there for Stylo right? @foxandhound I'm still aching for this to be his wildest setlist yet. Its fine if you hate me for that. 1:30 mins mid day on the What Stage? Either shits going down or I'm skeptical of Roo's placement of him.
2. Pusha T. Last set in the other tent. Basically late night. Not necessarily No Malice coming out, but I'm guessing this set ends up being unique to try and close out Thurs with a bang.

It is but I'll already be in Chicago for the week so the flight wont be so bad. Sunday has a lot of bands I like (Warpaint, Okkervil River, maybe Elton John), but I've heard so many grim stories about the crowd and the weather I'm thinking I shouldn't push it.

I forgot how many people whine about the schedule. I missed Wu-Tang last year who was in my top 5 and I still had an amazing time. Missed most of Buffalo Springfield, all of Dawes one year, I mean the list can go on of all the bands I want to see at 'Roo I end up missing.
If there's nothing you want to see, listen to more bands you'll like at least one playing each day and I guarentee that when you're on the farm it's not like you'll be bored (unless you do that to yourself).
You're going to miss some of you're favorite acts EVERY YEAR sorry bros. For me this year it's Phoenix, Disclosure/Ice Cube, White Denim and more. Get over it.

You should absolutely push it for Sunday! The crowds/weather are the same all 4 days for the most part.
Also, going in on Thursday for just 1 show is going to be beyond inconvenient. I take it you are staying offsite and driving in? That's so much work for ~1 hour of music. I would suggest listening to some other Thursday acts and making at least a half day/night of it.
And whatever you're planning on seeing in Nashville on Friday isn't nearly as cool as whatever will be going on at Bonnaroo that day!

I wouldn't count on Ben being there. He's playing in KC Wed and Thur then Houston on Saturday. Technically it's possible, but it seems unlikely.

Catbirdseat is a really nice restaurant in Nashville. It's not a band at Bonnaroo. This looks like the schedule of someone buying a Saturday shuttle pass. If so, Kaskade/Darkside probably isn't going to happen.

I also don't get how people are like, "there's nothing I want to see for hours!" This is Bonnaroo and you still have seven weeks to listen to new music. Surely you can scrounge up something worth your time.

Oh, that makes more sense. It does sound like some folksy band I've never heard of though

This. I can find at least 3 things I want to see every hr. If you have this issue, you need to listen to more music or broaden your musical tastes.

I think I'm just going to leave the Friday night clusterfunk up to my camp mates. I don't care about Heand and the Heart or Tribe Called Red. I've seen Chvrches and Neutral Milk Hotel. I'm seeing Vampire Weekend in two weeks and I'm indifferent to Phoenix.
It's going to be waaaay less stressful to just say, "I'll do whatever you guys want to do."
