Just like you can't get any bigger than Red Hot Chili Peppers! Unless they were able to get some band to reform maybe we could be blessed with the baddest act ever RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE That would definitely be the biggest act to ever play there.

The Cure is not bigger than Coldplay or RHCP.
Eminem is level with them though, but I think they would have to be much bigger than RHCP and Coldplay to say that. I have literally no idea what to think here. Rolling Stones? Oasis comeback? Radiohead got together recently to discuss a tour/album.

Talking Heads isn't Coldplay-RHCP level. A hologram for two hours would be cool for 20 minutes but not 2 hours

Yeah they have both sold records well over one hundred million copies so it's probably a personal taste thing.
Better anology would be thin Lizzy inspired Metallica and who is bigger. That one is obvious and not up to personal bias. Did the BGs inspire the Beatles, perhaps in the beginning, but they came out two years apart and the Beatles changed dramatically and became way more experimental.

Oasis won't happen because if they ever got back together, I'd imagine it'd be in Manchester. It's hard to debate for Oasis since blur is my favourite band, but at least we know I'm not bias here.

Also people are forgetting The Cure are most likely playing RiotFest in Colorado on Saturday. Even if they played Friday or Sunday, I don't think they'd headline two fests in two days that are 1,400 miles apart.
