Lots of fests do! MM wouldn't even be on my radar if it wasn't for the Inforoo reminder. I follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and the silence doesn't build anticipation or make me want to rush to buy tickets. Just kind of a bad business move IMO.
Their idea of anticipation is "you're gonna love it"
Yeah, I'll take their ever consistent word for it hahaha

they literally posted one tweet basically saying "buy tickets it's gonna be awesome this year" no other promotions or anything. You'd think since the "lineup is worth the wait" they'll be hyping it up

Just want to point out that I can't remember when the "hype" started... They announced the lineup one by one with the album covers mostly but that was the beginning of it all. There was much more social media activity once that happened. So there's still hope

I agree, the porta pottie situation was horrible! At one point I went behind the porta potties to pee and had to climb over a mix of girls squating, other guys peeing, and various people puking. The ticketing situation was horrible too, we were in line over 2 hrs in the rain waiting to get in. The fence was torn down twice before we finally got in.
I attended last year (Saturday only) and loved it, rained a lot but I survived. Lineup was pretty great last year, can't beat seeing Weezer, Tthe Arctic Monkeys, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in rapid succession. Porta pottie situation was criminal, my only real complaint.
