Both Foster the People, and Moon Taxi came out with additional your dates today and neither added an Atlanta date. Foster has the whole MM weekend available, and Moon Taxi is at the Bristol fest on Friday but have Sat available. Thinking these two might make the lineup.

Oh that's right I forgot they played that block party...
I also think Bad Suns could be a contender... Their new album is coming out tomorrow and have a ton of your dates but no ATL, and have MM weekend available. I know they were here in May but they were just an opener for the 1975. I can see them taking an early slot on Saturday.

So, how good do you guys honestly expect the line up to be? I know it won't match up to last year simply because the bands who were playing fests last year were better than this year.
I think HAIM is a good guess. They don't have any ATL dates listed for the North American leg of their current tour and there's a huge gap from August 24-October 24 so I assume those will be festival dates that have yet to be announced.

At this point I would be content with Jack White, Lorde and some decent bands on the undercard.

I don't see why everyone is ragging on last year's MM, especially Saturday. Personally Saturday was better than Friday. It may have ruined a brand new pair of shoes with the 8-inch-deep mud pits but seeing The Neighbourhood and Weezer in pouring rain was amazing, and being considerably close. The rain was an experience. It added to how great the day was. The one downside to that day was that my then-girlfriend was a real downer.

but Saturday had a better line-up, Friday was better managed since the ticket scanners didn't break and it didn't sell out Friday. Friday was actually really nice and relaxed, but Saturday was all over the place which I liked more. The management was just poor for a lot of people, but not for me actually. I got in and out of the porta potties and got a good spot for Journey, but I can't imagine being in that ticket line. Lots of people missed Weezer.
The only problem is that my camera and flashlight on my phone broke in the rain. I since dropped my phone and now the light works, but the camera still doesn't but I've gotten used to it.

I suppose if you didn't get there early, like before ZZ Ward and Mona started, then it could have been bad. But we got there as they opened the gates and the ticket scanners worked still. I don't usually have to go to the bathroom at these kinds of things so the porta-potties weren't a problem either. Did not get to stay for all of RHCP but saw some good stuff.
If y'all didn't see The Neighbourhood last year, they're playing a show at the Masquerade on July 15th! They put on a great show at MM.

Really? I thought they were absolutely awful. The singer was very pretentious and smug.

They have good music... introduced me to more than just Sweater Weather. I guess I should have said that they performed their music really well because I didn't notice too much wrong with their behavior

Instrumentally they have a lot of potential. But they could seriously do with a new singer. He didn't interact with the band much and his lyrics are pure garbage.
"You’re too mean, I don’t like you, fuck you anyway
You make me wanna scream at the top of my lungs
It hurts but I won’t fight you
You suck anyway
You make me wanna die"
I mean, what is that? It was cool to be in a crowd of people where everyone knew the Sweater Weather hook though.

Not everyone has great lyrics.. But his voice fits perfectly with their music and they have a different sound.

It also bothers me that they spell their name with a "u" like in the British way when they're from California.
It's because there is already a band called The Neighborhood. Personally any music is good, excluding mainstream pop, some rap, really hardcore metal, and newer country music. I don't see what's so "shitty" about The Neighbourhood.
The lineup can't live up to last years... Hopefully that can be said and can be proved wrong though.
That's actually very disappointing to me. I heard them play at Roo 2013 and didn't know who they were until I came home then quickly became obsessed with their album. Ah, well...we'll see tomorrow I suppose!
The Neighbourhood remains the worse show of 2014 for me. Played for 50 minutes, but it dragged on for what felt like 2 hours. Singer also flicked off the crowd when he left and was a complete jerk.
At this point Queen (w/lambert) is touring , but not Atlanta, they are the only currently touring group that could live up to the hype of "the biggest band ever to play MM".
Seeing as Twenty One Pilots is very likely to be announced on the lineup tomorrow, I would guess NONONO and Hunter Hunted, who have been touring with them and played the Tabernacle with them back in April, will be on the lineup too. But just a guess.
Queen with Lambert wouldn't headline, or shouldn't, because Lambert isn't Freddie Mercury. But seeing them on the lineup at all would be alright.
