After seeing this lineup, I just want to say that I'm VERY happy I got tickets to Outkast's Friday homecoming show, and didn't wait to see what MM had planned.
Aside from Jack White, this is a ridiculously bad lineup. Eminem puts out decent records, but having seen him live once before, there is no way I'd pay money to see him again.
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp

Yep, if I didn't get those Kast tickets, today might've been absolutely tragic with the lineup and Uruguay paying the refs.

You've got to give it to trantsgiving. Most people would stop acting like they knew anything when they were completely wrong about everything. Or when everyone on a message board collectively said "Uggghhhhh" after every post they made. Or both. But not tranter. He just keeps going and going. He's nothing if not consistent.

I think MM will sell a lot of tickets with this lineup. The real problem is with the vibe of the crowd that is going to buy them. I feel bad for Jack and Gregg.
My feeling about the crowd is that it will end up being a lot like the year I went to Free Fest, and those motherfuckers gave me hives from their general level of douchiness.

WOW - Uruguay is definitely dirty, but you can't plant your boot on a dude's calf in front of the ref and not expect a red card.
Since you're an Arizona Cardinals fan, I feel especially sorry for you

I wasn't arguing that. How does a ref not see a bite? But cardinals had the #1 run d last year and were one spot out of the playoffs. In any other division they would've been in. Excluding probably AFC West

You should probably be more careful online...People find out things quick on the internet and your Facebook is not very private...Leads to people finding out where you live, who your family is, etc...
The bite was awful, but Italy had their chances. Couldn't convert. Regardless, Germany to win the whole thing!
This line-up isn't as atrocious as some are making it out to be, however, the decision to not have one day passes this year is a HORRIBLE decision. A lot of people can't make the Friday show and the one day passes seemed to sell just fine last year. Conlon is a money-grubbing bit*$

Let's not limit this description to just one person.

Yeah but that Uruguay player should've been sent off against England since he already had a yellow. Italy lost their composure after the bite.
Peter Conlon. Atlanta's favorite concert promoter and truly a man of the people:
"People who pretend to be musicians who really aren't — especially local musicians. ... If you're working in a bar, and you're a bartender but you play in a band, you're a bartender. It's how you make your living. If you're making your living as a musician full time, you're a musician. This is a business of talent. People in this business seek talent out. If you're talented, someone's gonna find you and you're gonna get discovered. If you're still flailing around and you're in your late 20s or 40s, you probably don't have any talent and you should really look at plan B. A lot of people come to me and they're still waiting to get discovered, but look, it's hard to hide talent. In our business, people will find you and make you a star. When people claim to be musicians but they're working as bartenders or waiters, it's just not the same thing. It takes away from the people who really do have talent."
Oh, you missed a band's entire set waiting in line at the porto-johns? Peter Conlon says that's your fault, you lazy @ss:
" The port-a-lets thing: We actually had plenty of port-a-lets last year; they just weren't all in one spot. If you have them all in one spot you have a tremendous gathering of ugly port-a-lets. They're spread throughout the site. People wanted to go to the ones that are right at the back of the meadow, because they're right there, but they had to stand in line. Around the corner and maybe another 100 feet away, there are more. We couldn't put any more of them by the field. If we did there wouldn't be room for people; not to mention you don't want to stand next to 150 port-a-lets during the show."

I'm seeing Lorde and jack white in September now... So there's that. On the down side my girlfriend still wants to go with all her friends. Some people cannot be saved
