Im starting to accept the Saturday switches, and I'm now accepting that I only like a few Chromeo songs, and will probably skip their set now. I feel like now though Bobby and Damon for sure will not show up at each others set.

I have a feeling we're going to see at least a few more changes to the schedule, just because the last part of Saturday night is nothing but EDM (Darkside is kinda hybrid EDM, but I digress). I feel like they would put SOMETHING after the Skrillex SJ, right?

I would be open to a Micky Heart Band THUNDERCAT set after the ShrillyJam!

I haven't noticed alot of Damon Albarn talk....i guess since he's going up against Cage the Elephant....Cage has 14K scheduled & Damon ONLY 3K....i didn't listen to any Blur or Gorillaz but just started checking out his stuff....love the solo album & getting into the other two projects as well....starting to really look forward to this set....and better yet, looks like i'll be able to get a prime spot & just stay on through LR & JW....looks like a great Saturday to me.....
OT since I doubt Damon will play much if any Blur stuff, but check out Blurs greatest hits album if you can. They were one of the best singles bands of the 90s, and that is a great compilation of their singles.
Saturday went from being almost perfect to even closer to perfect. Still gonna miss a couple, but I don't think I could have been luckier with the scheduling this year. My top 10-15 are unconflicted.
Thursday: Allah-Las>Cass MCCombs>Thao or Hannibal>Omar>J Roddy>Ty Segall. Would like to see White Denim but I'll settle.
Friday: Grrensky/John Batiste>Dr Dog>Dakhabrakha or Umphreys>Master Musicians>Andrew Byrd>Trib Called Red>NMH>Trucks Superjam. Missing Vampire Weekend and Wood Bros but thats about it for me.
Saturday(as if the weekend wasn't already nuts): Seasick Steve>Tedeschi Trucks>Grouplove>Damon Albarn>Phosphorescent>Cut Copy>James Blake>Jack White>Flips>Darkside>Jonathin Toubin. Missing John Butler, Cake and Chromeo.

recommending a greatest hits comp is usually awful. if you want blur just start with 13.
if youre interested in a guy named Marley (might not yet heard of him, pretty underground) he's got this fantastic comp called Legend.
give it a go, one of the best singles writers of all time.

Its finally clicked with me how much they fucked up this schedule even before they changed it around. Saturday is soooooooo fucking stacked. Sunday and Thursday are garbage. Friday is solid from Janelle Monae on.
I'm probably missing Cut Copy, Lauryn Hill, Bobby Womack, Flaming Lips, Skrilljam, Nick Cave, Lionel Richie...

Recent years had complaints about late nights and felt they were lacking. Now that they loaded up the late nights there are still complaints. Sucks but hopefully it will mean the crowd is spread out a little bit more.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
