Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I finally betrayed my initial gut and have decided to go to the Skrillex Superjam instead of Frank Ocean. Too many big names will be there for me to turn away. I'm still not sure how I want my Saturday to look like...
Either: Cage the Elephant>Phosphorescent>Lionel Richie>Zedd>Jack White>Superjam>Darkside OR Cage the Elephant>get drunk>Cut Copy>end of Zedd>Jack White>Superjam>Darkside
The Lionel/Cut Copy conflict is killing me. Cut Copy is a top five band for me while Lionel is an act I'll probably never see if I don't see him at Bonnaroo. It'll probably be a game time decision if I haven't decided by now. Seeing Cut Copy the Tuesday before Roo will either make me want to see them again or fulfill my craving to see them.
well its somewhat feasible to split this one and still catch all of Cut/Copy, if you don't have to have perfect position for either show. Watch the first 25 minutes of Lionel in the right What Field, then run over to This Tent just in time to catch the whole Cut/Copy set. And if Lionel ends up being super awesome you can just stay there.
i'm still turning this time slot over in my head as well.
My problem though lies with the fact that Lionel will most likely perform his best songs at the end of his set. I do like this idea though. I'm not really picky when it comes to where I am in terms of position for a show. I wasn't even under the tent for Animal Collective and was the highlight of my experience.

Sunday 2:00 PM Cayucas
I might have to check out the Kins, Royal Canoe, and Cayucas I was bummed I was going to miss all three bands and the idea of mid-day air conditioning will give the Ford Garage the edge on checking out shows on the Sonic Stage or Cafe Where which I was playing on doing during those time slots. I wonder were they will be putting this stage at?

Any guesses on who will be the surprise DJ for the Robe Rage show? I'm considering it at this point since Frank and Skrillex SJ will both probably be packed beyong belief.
My long shot guess is a FlyLo set, seeing that Thundercat will be on the farm, i't wouldn't shock me.

If I miss a damn Flying Lotus DJ set, I will be pissed. Just sayin.
Secondly: I blindly stumbled into the Ford Garage on Thursday in 2012. I have no idea who was playing but it was a chill atmosphere with no more than 75 people and the band about 5 feet away from some of them. Stayed for a song and then never ventured back, but that memory has stuck with me. I might try and swing by this year.

I've seen Black Angels, Kopecky Family Band, and Oberhofer there - all good shows with bean bags and A/C. Pretty cool place. They also always have bandanas soaked in ice water.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Just noticed that they changed the stage for the Skrilljam to this tent. I was already going to try and get rail for Cut Copy, so it looks like all I have to do is wait through Jack White. Best news from a schedule change this year!

I'm going to make a bold prediction and guess that there will be 50-100 people waiting for the Skrillex Superjam even after the Cut Copy crowd leaves. Then when Zedd ends, you can add another couple hundred to that at least.

It's definitely going to be one of if not the most crowded show of the weekend (not including Elton John for obvious reasons).. If I can get under the tent, that'd be great but I'm not planning on watching Zedd.. I might just have to party outside the tent for this one. It'll be fun regardless

MOTHER OF GOD
funny I'm listening to FlyLo right now.. but seriously, I would leave the Skrillex SJ so damn fast it ain't even funny. I've got my robe ready for whoever it ends up being.. I figure, I'll check out the Robe Rage, if I'm not interested then I'll just leave. But I'm coming prepared just in case it turns out to be some amazing producer or DJ playing that night.
updated the spreadsheet with the changes. there were same changes to the silent disco, sonic, and solar stages as well as the big moves on saturday night.
The link to the google sheet doesn't work
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the original link. Thanks for this!

I'm thinking that by 11:00, This Tent will be full. I'm headed there right after James Blake and not expecting to even get on the rail.

I'm still holding out some hope for the rail, just probably not dead center. I have to believe!
But no, I think you're mostly right. If not by 11, definitely by 11:30. I doubt there will even be a point for people getting to the show at midnight, might as well go to a different show you can actually see.

The 100% certain way to get a rail for a late night show is to get rail at a show or two before it (even if that is before a headliner). For the past two years of Superjams that is what has gotten me right up front. Grab that rail and hang onto it. There's limited rail space and always a good amount of superfans for any act.
theres the long ass link. i guess when i used the google url shortener it got messed up. i double checked and this works for me, but its also my spreadsheet, but it is set to be available to everyone, and I can see people looking at it.

The only late night act I see seriously going over their time limit is Kaskade. Meshuggah and Skrillex might be the next most likely, but I really doubt Skrillex plays more than 2 hours.

Kaskade is exactly who I was thinking of and hoping for when asking this question.
