What I'm saying is, I had you pegged as inspector. So I have to go with that gut feeling that I had before you came out as inspector and vote with you, regardless of my suspicion of bacon. If I'm to believe you're inspector I have to assume that you're correct with both names. That would make them sure things and bacon is a hunch.
Of course you being inspector is also a hunch... Fortunately I had that hunch and it turned out (assumably) right.
Again, I have to go back and analyze voting patterns and see what I come up with to confirm.
Also, this makes a whole lot of sense as to why nobody moved off Jfg last round - all the mafia votes couldn't move, it would definitely look suspicious.
What if you don't get whacked tonight though? What if they don't whack you? I mean - their first 2 were quite smart. I could see them whacking bacon and letting you get lynched because you DIDNT get whacked.

Yes, they might not whack me to try to discredit me and hope that I can be voted off instead, I did count on that, but to much risk of not surviving the next night if I don't come forward during the day today, and no point in waiting until the last minute. Like I said, I'm 98% sure you are the 3rd but there is still that slim doubt if you can convince me and the others you aren't the one.
Carini's explanations seem pretty solid. I'm not as convinced about surf as she(he? sorry, don't know if that's been said yet lol), is, but I plan on reading through when I have time a bit later.
My only apprehension is that carini is mafia. Suppose for the sake of argument that the mafia is carini/krissy/bacon. We kill off hakuna, and the mafia win the game with a townie whack. This wouldn't completely surprise me if it is indeed the case, as idk about carini, but bacon and krissy are both veteran players, and the mafia have been incredibly deft this game. This also makes me suspicious of pretty much anyone who just takes carini at his word (bacon/krissy/jimmy), as ya'll are going along with this very willingly for veteran players who know they should be analyzing everything.
Personally, I think carini's story checks out. But I think it's my responsibility to bring up other options before everyone just goes along with it, and I'm surprised no one (other than surf, who is somewhat discredited because he's been accused), has brought up other possible scenarios.

For me it comes down to the fact that it fits in with what I was thinking all along. Maybe I'm getting played but if Carini is faking and the real inspector is dead we are fucked anyway.

I believe carini because of the extremely clear way the information was presented. I was in a game where someone faked inspector. Actually, I'm pretty sure I was mafia that game. The fake inspector was nowhere near as articulate or as good at giving explanations to those who questioned him as carini has been. If he's truly mafia and faking, he's doing a damn good job.

This was my line of thought too. It's very coherent. Plus, while I didn't think much of it at first, Jimmy really seemed to tip his hand with the Boner vote.
If I hadn't had a hunch carini was inspector before he came out, I would be a LOT more skeptical. I've never had a hunch before about inspector, and it came true.
