I think I explained it pretty well, We need people in there. We can't have another round of 7 people with 1 vote each, we have to start narrowing it down. Of the people with votes already, that essentially narrowed it down to you and surf, of which I went with surf. I don't want to speak for Jazmo but he seemed to agree and you were really all that was left. It's not so much suspicion, At this point I'm finding it hard to be particularly suspicious of anyone(or suspicious of everybody depending on which side of the coin you want to look) We basically need to start dangling heads out there and see who makes what moves to protect/kill them. If we have another runoff of Jimmy/Krissy/Mike it gets us no where. There are others I'm open to being in there but when I made my vote i didn't see it being a useful route to start.
With the close of voting so soon I think I need to force Surfbum's hand. Maybe a stupid move, but I wouldn't mind a 2 person Surfbum and person of his choice runoff. That would be better than a 3-way imo.

I have no problem with that. I was actually just looking through the votes and posts to try and find some semblance of a pattern, and I don't see one yet. Its pretty void of information really. I think the Mafia really made a smart whack as nobody really voted for sleepy other than Krissy, and that seems a lot like voting partners to me based on the "10 year old" comments.
I think a 3 person runoff would be more telling, and interesting because we are making Mafia show their hand quicker. It may mean that I get voted out, and Im good with that if it happens, hopefully it shows more patterns of things.

Ive got to think this through. I made that last post with the intent of having a 3 person runoff. Making it a 2 person runoff only helps Mafia IMO because we can't dig out voting patterns and figure things through. It conceals the Mafia's hand.
Anyone else that has some input here as to where I should throw my vote would be helpful.
I really think a 3 person runoff is best here. Going straight to 2 takes away chances to observe and analyze votes.

I don't agree that a 2 person runoff is better than 3. Especially because the first round seems to have been sort of a waste given the apparently unhelpful sleepy whack. And I'm not really sure what your angle is here making such a late vote switch...

I'm in favor of a 3-way runoff vs 2. More chances to see votes and more chances for people to talk. I'm sorry I've not been as talkative as I usually am. I could give excuses but as I've been told just about every time I play this game "personal shit doesn't belong in mafia" so I'm doing what I can to keep up in spite of my personal shit.
My vote on jfg is easily a knee-jerk reaction to his missing a vote, so if there's a consensus for me to move it elsewhere, I'm fine with that. I still want a 3 person runoff though as I think that's going to be the most helpful.
bacon - What was the reason for choosing surf to bump to 3? I've not had a chance to read through, but off the top of my head, I don't see why he's more suspicious than anyone else at this point. FYI your move isn't causing me to be suspicious or anything, I'm just curious about the choice
I said it in the first round and its still true. I prefer the 2-way run-off to the 3-way. It is easier for mafia to separate themselves and remain hidden in a three way run-off. I figured Surf would do exactly what he did and either vote for someone with 0 votes for a 3 way runoff or vote for Krissy and make a 4-way run-off. It would be a smart self-preservation move for him. I want to force him to show his hand. Camping or not he has not put himself out there at all this round, nor did he last round. He is going to have to vote for Carini or JFG eventually so why not do it now?

How do you know the 3-way runoff wouldn't result in a second 2 way runoff. That would get more votes. At least that's how I was thinking (and seemingly a few others agree with me). But whatever, what do I know...

You're seriously going w the "if I were mafia" defense?
Eh, I think saying "if I were mafia" is a fairly benign phrase even though it always comes across suspect as hell. Much, much more suspect to me is bacon's preference for a two-person runoff. Like Jimmy said, it'll probably go down to two people anyway - why would you want less votes and less discussion? Because even if your line of reasoning does force someone to make a power play, it could thereby force a townie to make a power play that paints them as mafia, even though they're not. This would just ultimately distract the town. I think your singling out of surf (and jimmy?) is a bit too narrow-focused. I could also see your "I don't trust Jimmy" statement to be a distancing notion. My point is that you've just shot up my suspect list a few spots.

I will extend till Midnight tonight, giving 4 more hours of discussion. Given the timetable of the game, I prefer to not add any days to the game. If multiple request come in to extend till tomorrow, I will consider it.
I'm more than willing to switch my vote as I definitely do not plan on voting surf off without a runoff. I've basically just been hesitant as I wasn't sure what kind of can or worms switching just to switch and manipulate the runoff would open. So I guess

This was the sort of, a bunch of people voting for a bunch of different people I was talking about trying to avoid early. It's nothing really on Jazmo at the moment, it's more of a place holder vote for the sake of the runoff. Obviously if more people begin moving ill move before the runoff. I really hate when the runoff gets "planned" out like this, I'm even betting on the fact miked may post switching before I finish this post and then I'll have to switch back or so done else did and so on, but we really can't have surf voted straight off.
Also just throwing it out there, those of you growing suspicious of bacon, where are you at regarding jfg and carini? Assuming this stacking on surf isn't some type of rouse/distancing, I really don't see what it accomplishes unless he is protecting one of them. I'm hardly saying I'm suspicious(this doesn't seem too out of character for bacon) but just see it as the only scenario that makes sense if suspicion is there.
^ Haha yea there's no way surf is getting voted straight off. I was considering switching to bacon but just holding off until there was more discussion. I figured we have a few hours so I decided against it. I don't care for planned runoffs either. If a townie has a good plan, that's great, but if the planner is mafia and the town goes along with it, the town is fucked. Hence my suspicion for bacon.
Right now bacon, carini, and jfg are my biggest suspects, though bacon is the one I have more legit reasons for (as explained). If they switch off from voting for each other I think it will be interesting, as right now they're contributing to them both being in the runoff, and I don't think they would let that happen if they were Mafia.
Krissy is a moderate suspect to me because I said something earlier about her not contributing as much as she usually does, and for the second time this game she's apologized for it...this could be her potentially ingratiating herself with me. Assuming the sleepy whack was meant to not necessarily confuse us but just to give us little to go off of, I think it's possible that Krissy is still mafia (since the sleepy whack only pseudo-points to her, IMO).
I currently have little opinion on you, Mike D, Surf, and Jimmy.
