Just leaving work heading to chorus rehearsal. Won't be able to check in again before the deadline. I'm fine with where my vote is and with the runoff as is.
Your thoughts? If you keep your votes on surfbum then he possibly gets voted straight out without a runoff.
There is no way that would actually happen Jimmy, way too much time left in the game and six other players that could have also done something to avoid that. If it did happen it would speak much more for those that let it happen, not the three of us who were voting for him. Now, if that was a last minute move before the runoff, ya it would have been pretty shady, but I don't think I have ever seen a straight voteoff in the second round even when the inspector does come out. I was actually pretty interested to see how Bacon's move would have played out
Yeah, I wasn't suggesting that surfbum would actually get voted off without a runoff. I just wanted to see if you or Hakuna was willing to move the vote (i.e. whether you guys support a 3 person runoff) or if you were willing to let it play out and see someone stack carini or jfg up to 3 and have a 2 person runoff. But clearly Hakuna already made his move.
Typically I would say three at this point game still, but I think it was because it involved Surf (who I voted for first) that I would have let it play out if it was up to me
I'm here and ready and willing to answer any questions anyone might have from me. No sense in throwing out theories or other accusations when I'm in the runoff, I'll wait till after to do that.

Why would you choose to do this instead of trying to persuade people to vote for the people you're up against?

I had already made my case against JFG with how his behavior changed after he was called out for missing the vote and he decided to stop talking, and Surf I don't have a full read on yet, have to go back and take a further look.
If reading the reasoning correctly, I'm here to put new faces in the runoff, other then you saying I was distancing myself from JFG I don't recall any accusations against me to defend. As far as JFG goes I plan to keep my vote on him unless I have to move for self preservation, so that should help there.
So...looks tied up again, with hakuna left to vote.
I'm not sure if anything I say will help; I don't seem to have played the game enough to read into voting patterns yet. Will go back to look at the first round again.
I think bacon is right to an extent right now. As it stands right now I'm the "deciding" vote, obviously people have plenty of time to change but I was hoping if it came down to a split it would be between jfg or carini vs. surf and not jfg vs. carini, if that makes any sence. Not nessisarily that I would vote for surf but I think we'd have some more telling information with that set up. As it stands I'd probably vote carini. I'm basically at the same place with both of them, jfg has just said some things I have a hard time beleiving his teammates would want him saying if he were mafia, then again he has clammed up really dramatically since saying most of those so who really knows. Or I could just vote surf for a three way tie and wait to see who cracks where first. And finally I'm thinking it might just be a good idea to vote null, take the missed vote strike, and force a 2 person runoff and force more votes out.
For now I'm waiting, I'll check back in a little while and see what people are saying(or not saying for that matter).
At this point point a second run-off is a waste of time in my mind, especially since the two people I would most like to see in the run-off are JFG and Surf. If Hakunah was to vote for Surf and Jazmo null his vote the result would be JFG and Surf voting for eachother and Jazmo decided the kill. I'm never fan of creating situations where one person has the deciding vote.

Does a null vote count as missed vote? I've read games that have it both ways
3) Voting will be open for 36 hours each round, or until everyone has cast their vote - whichever comes first. Additional time may be given by the referee to allow for continued discussion. Voting will never follow the 36-hour rule on the weekends. The Referee will only close voting on a Saturday or Sunday if all players have cast their vote. a) A player may choose to vote null without penalty, so long as they state this vote in the same fashion as a traditional vote. b) If votes are tied when the round closes, an additional 36 hour round will start. This is refered to a Run-Off in the game. Votes for players in the runoff are carried over, other votes are reset.
That said, I don't agree with the idea of leaving a vote null at the end of the last round in a day. Null voting in the situation Hakuna described would only delay the inevitable. I will allow votes to be nulled during runoffs, for the purpose of creating another runoff, but you must state it as if it were a vote.
A null vote at the end of the 1st round of voting, or last runoff, will count as a missed vote in this game.
Ya I see what you are saying bacon. I also think the deeper we get into this, the people involved in the runoff will start switching for preservation and it's really going to convolute things.
Hakuna >> jfg
Basically right now 2 of cariniss votes are from the other people runoff and that isn't sitting well with me, not a ton but enough to tip the scale.

Fixed your post.
