Temptation. Temptation. Those dates work out perfect for me though.
I like the ???s on your signature. Does that mean you're going to "Le Guess Who?" ? (as it contains only one question mark)
That’s the plan for next year. Things can change before then though and we decided to hold out till the line-up drops before we pull the trigger. I’m honestly gonna need that cash when Psycho Las Vegas goes on-sale in a few weeks.
From the things I've read on other forums (Dutch ones) everyone seemed to have had a great time. But it seemed more packed (with people) than other years and there were a lot less suburb concerts compared to previous years. There was a lot more 'world music' and 'normie' acts than other years, the surprise-acts "?" were most of the time not very interesting and overall seemed a bit meh compared to other years. Are there board members who can relate to this or not really? I'm curious if they can have a Beach House or Sufjan Stevens curate something next year.
Mount Eerie (!), GAS, Ben Frost and Perfume Genius seemed to have had the best performances of the weekend by the people of Dutch forums.
Ugh. Not that excited for the headliners. Didn’t see the xx on this cycle so I’ll take that. Just feels like I’ve seen a lot of these acts(Black Madonna, George Fitzgerald, etc) recently.

Yeah I'm not super excited about the headliners either, but undercard seems stacked. Jon Hopkins' show is live (it was not reflected in the previous version of the poster, I've updated it), and I'm excited about it tho.

Hopkins will be cool. I saw Fitzgerald’s new show coming together and it looks far more interesting than his dj set. Knowing last year had Soulwax and Gus Gus, my expectations were a bit more high. Still have tons of more acts to go though.
edit: this is a pretty good start after some digging

The initial Melt lineup certainly isnt BAD, theres a lot of good names, just not quite good enough yet to make me pull the trigger on a flight to Germany. Hoping round 2 pushes it over the top for me.
I can’t anymore. This is starting to hurt my feelings.
True facts. I should have known it would be heartbreaking the moment I saw "Curated by Jacob Bannon". For the plus side, it gives me plenty to research in listening.

Start with Yellow Eyes (if you haven’t). One of my favorites over the past few years. Green Machine is up your alley, too.
Melt daily breakdown has been slowly leaking. I've been afraid what acts will play Sunday as I'll be missing that day, but so far it's played in my favor. I still have a chance to catch Jon Hopkins, Ben Klock, Cigarettes After Sex, George Fitzgerald, Superorganism, Yellow Days, and Nina Kraviz (much of what I wanted to see at this point anyways). I like that they are helping me knock out conflicts months in advance. As if I needed more of a push to obsess over this.
Rock Werchter announced their 3th headliner, Queens Of The Stone Age. So far they have; Gorillaz + QOTSA (Thursday) Nick Cave (Sunday)
And Pearl Jam, The XX, The Killers, The Prodigy, Editors, LCD Soundsystem, Florence + The Machine, Björk, Nine Inch Nails etc etc are all still rumoured to take the next open spots :')

Are you planning to go? Or do you prefer another festival (Dour, Pukkelpop etc.)?
I think I would go to all of them if I lived there.
