Glad someone had the cohones to draft The American Red Meat District.
You just made that up.
Lol. The image wouldn't load and I was going off the top of my head. An old friend of mine used to run a label called Great American Steak Religion and I think I was confusing the two.
Tool, Slayer, Stone Temple Pilots, Sisters Of Mercy, Architects, Lamb Of God, YOB, The Fever 333, Wiegedood, Graveyard.. I mean, I'm not such a massive metalfan that'd I'd have to run from stage to stage wiith this line up cause I just don't know enough but this thing is massive even with rather weak headliners..
14-year-old inside me cried a little looking at the lineup.
I was checking the prices just for the sake of it, but apparently it's already sold out.

With the National and Car Seat Headrest announced for Paredes de Coura (and The National for Summer Well in Romania) makes it seem like both of those will be at Sziget. Wow. Bought my ticket, I'll be staying with my friends in the city so this is a no brainer for me.
And Swedish House Mafia announced for 4 festival appearances (Austria, Norway, UK) so seems like they will make it too, to keep the kids happy.
Frankly, I would not automatically count on The National and CSH, since Sziget has become more and more of a straight up party festival.
I wouldn't normally, either, but new owners this year. I wouldn't have expected Florence, Foo Fighters, Frank Turner, or Richard Ashcroft there either. I haven't been to Sziget since 2006 when Radiohead headlined because of what you said.
Frequency Festival announced some more names I'd assume we'd be getting some of, too: Macklemore, Prophets of Rage, and The Offspring

Seeing Hot Chip on lineups again makes me happy and hopeful I'll have a chance to see them while I'm still in Europe.
In other news, Best Kept Secret announced several undercard acts today: Interpol, Mac DeMarco, Kurt Vile & the Violators, and Cigarettes After Sex. Still missing the other two headliners. Based on tour dates, The Cure seem very likely.

NOS Alive added The Chemical Brothers. Still waiting for most of the lineup, but have Bon Iver, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Sharon Von Etten and Thom Yorke, so giving this some serious consideration. Portugal is an amazing country, so that doesn’t hurt any.
