Man, they crushed it again. Sadly, can't make it to Berlin Atonal due to exams but that should be amazing too. Really wanna visit LGW? but the logistics of me spending a weekend on my own + the extra costs that come with it, sigh.

Can't you team up with other festivalgoers for an airbnb in Utrecht? I feel like there's a pretty good community for that festival.
Fri: Altin Gün > Low > Ezra Collective > dEUS (I guess?) > Skepta > Grace Jones > Editors
Sat: Jonathan Wilson > Kamasi Washington > Ólafur Arnalds > The Roots > Parquet Courts > Vampire Weekend > Thom Yorke > Underworld > The Hacker > Daniel Avery
Sun: LP > David August > Khruangbin > AURORA > Beirut > Rosalía > The Comet Is Coming > Robyn > Janelle Monáe
Field day is crazy undersold, security is overzealous but the warehouses are cool, sounds good in here, beer is cheap and actress>leon>George fitzgerald >Modeselektor isn't too bad
Wow- that's a solid lineup for indie and alternative tastes! I see 22 acts I'd want to see, at first glance, over the (only) two days of the festival. No "blockbuster" headliners, but very good undercard. I'd be happy with this as a 3-day fest (a la Shaky Knees), to avoid the inevitable brutal conflicts. A couple questions:
1) Why can't we have something like this in the northeast U.S.? No need to answer- I'm just bitching... 2) Has anyone gone to this or similar events in Mexico City? Never been there, and I don't speak Spanish- Any security concerns? We hear a lot of crazy shiz about what goes on in Mexico, but it's hard to tell what's real or not.

been doing a ton of research on CDMX as i'm going out there for the Chargers game which just happens to perfectly land on Monday night right after Corona Capital. as long as you don't wander off in random alleys, you will be fine. CDMX is as safe for tourists as any major city. you'll obviously want to keep your wallet in a front pocket when on public transportation but honestly with as cheap as Uber is down there, public transportation really isn't necessary.

Has anyone been to Fuji Rock before? I know someone who may be going. He was wondering if just bringing a hammock would be ok. Surely there are trees in the campground he could hang it in right?
Tad dissappointing but a good indication on what's going to tour around october/november. Already got tix to see Chromatics and probably in for Jamila Woods and Charli XCX aswell who got announced recently. Only one left I'm eager to see is Weyes Blood so excited that's she's coming back to Europe.
