People are PISSED about the move because Field Day put tickets back on sale and hyped up a big announcement in the meantime. So they lead people on to buying travel and lodging based on the assumption it would be in the same location. Now they drop this and ticket holders are stuck with accommodations they dont even need anymore. Plus if you want a refund theyre keeping the £10 booking fee and prices doubled from last year. And on top of all that it can’t go as late as it used to before since itll be outdoors.

Prices doubling from last year blows, but I'm afraid that will be the new norm at first for all live music events.

I get people being disappointed and annoyed but unless a festival straight up steals a bunch of your money no one should complain about anything festivals do this year.

When you buy a ticket for an event in July and were given zero indication it would change at all, then said event gets moved to the busiest weekend of the year, I think people are right to be upset. Not communicating such a shift before you place tickets back on sale is an asshole move. Would you want to have bought tickets to Bonnaroo with all indications it was happening in June, then a week later after youve bought a flight and such youre told its in September?

i wouldn't buy tickets to anything at this point because there's obviously tons of uncertainty around festivals. tons of shit has been cancelled till 2022 already in the last like week. if you bought plane tickets already to a festival when gatherings of more than 10 people are still banned that seems like a personal issue

Sounds like they could have communicated better but if you buy a ticket to a fest this year and don't consider the possibility that the dates might move later in the year and plan accordingly that is kind of on you. The change of location doesn't seem like a huge deal either. It's still in London. The fest is actually returning to where it was held for 10 years. Plus they are offering refunds. Again, sounds like they could've improved communication but it doesn't sound like they have done anything that should make people "PISSED."

Rock Werchter postponed till 2022, guess despite the efforts of combining forces for a September edition, it wasn't enough.. Real gut punch.
Pearl Jam were on that for 2020 and 2021. Very curious to see what happens to their Euro summer tour, which is still possible if they shuffle a couple early shows.
has anyone been to lowlands? have iberia airlines credit that i need to use by the end of the month
I have. What would you like to know about it?
