Headliners suck but Pukkelpop looks kinda fine to me.
In a corona year like this and given the circumstances of several big bands canceling, I'd give it a pass but it's not for me. They've long strayed away from their roots and this is just another confirmation of how flat and bland the festival as a whole has become. There's some nice names in there and the poster def makes it looks good, but on the clashfinder.. Yeah, no.
Sounds like the Netherlands jumped the gun a bit and all of the upcoming fests in the country are going to get cancelled. Poor Dekmantel.
Now I'm selfishly relieved I won't be missing that incredible lineup...but sucks for people looking to go. Wonder if they'll rebook the same lineup again for next year.

Then again, we saw in England, Schotland and Ireland also a spike of new cases and that also went down.. But with barely any effect in hospitalisations or deaths due to the vaccins doing their thing. I wouldn't panic that much.

Uk fests have some cover with getting designated as test events. Always a loophole.
Organisation played some dirty poker with the governement because the organisation couldn't meet the testing logistics, wanted the govt to cancel it so they could get money back but the govt gave their blessing that it could go on with the logistics they agreed upon but they ultimately pulled the plug themselves now. It's been a shitshow the past couple of days. A lot of young people were looking forward to it. All gone to waste because of greed.
Down The Rabbit Hole is moving to the last weekend of August and is taking place on the same location as Lowlands. Tomorrow first names. Very much looking worward to this. Hoping I can snag tickets since Lowlands sold out in no time.
Lots of Dutch acts ofcourse, but still love it. Hoping to be vaccinated by then tho lol.
Canceled due to governement pushing the date till 1 september for no-mass events. I give up man, what the hell. Football stadiums full of people but people enjoying concerts is a no go.
