So i'm a Bonnanoob and this will be my first trip to the farm, but I am already getting goosebumps and butterflies about roo this year and I wanted to see who else is getting as excited as I am!

This will be my second trip to the farm. And between knowing what kind of fun there is to experience and lurking here on inforoo I am WAAAAAAAAAAY more excited than I was my first time. You are definitely not alone.

This is my 9th Roo and it never changes! I am accomplishing nothing at work today. I used to prep way further ahead, but now I'm a pro so I don't get excited and prepared until about 2 weeks out

I have to move this weekend, get together a first months and deposit for my new place by monday, and still come out with enough money to make it to Tennessee.

Also my second year! Last year I did everything last minute because I didn't know what to expect, this year the anticipation is killing me! I'm go giddy and ready to be back on the farm!
This is my third year, and this is the most excited I've ever been. People ask me what I've been doing lately, and the answer is always "preparing for Roo". All day, every day, Roo is on mah mind.
They won't make it through the weekend without being stolen. But I hope they do so that you get to mount them.
That's what I figured... But I'm sure they will make someone really happy, and cover them in pink glitter for the weekend.
If I see somebody covered in pink glitter, I'm going to accuse them of stealing the flamingos. I figure I should warn you in case it's you and not a thief..
Hoping I don't jinx her but this will be lucy the pony's 5th trip to the farm and so far no one has stolen her... quite the opposite really when we come home to camp and find our neighbors proudly protecting her from the storm winds.

Such is my nature, but part of the way I deal with Roo anxiety each year is to focus on the preparation. Alas, I always bring a couple of newbies into the fold and they don' t quite understand the "you really do need these certain things" statements I lay out for them. So the last week or so is spent trying to make sure no matter what happens, I have them covered when the inevitable "holy crap I wish I'd brought _______!!!!" comes out.
This is my first year going and I am going all by my lonesome. I have worked hard for this much needed time off and I feel like I should work harder knowing I will be gone for a week. Nonetheless, I am super excited for the experience that awaits for me at the farm. I will be a lame day parker and staying in a hotel. However, while I am having a blast at the farm I will be earning hotel points so I consider that a win. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
