What kind of bacon wares do they sell, if I may ask?
They had a few items, but I only remember: bacon grilled cheese (with 2 tiny pieces of bacon in it) bacon flight (http://www.bonnaroo.com/news/baconlands-bacon-flight)

It looks more like a money flight than a bacon flight :-) waka waka

Wow, super lame.
If you used the PayPal app to pay for the bacon flight it was free. $8 credit. Except the PayPal app never worked because their wifi wouldn't connect most of the time. Then if it was it was cumbersome to use. I think it was PayPal basically using bacon to trick you installing their app.

In the battle of bacon vs app, bacon will always be a cut above.

Just heard back...Cracked is in! 8th year on the farm for me personally. I probably wouldn't have paid for a ticket this year, but it keeps pulling me back...

Good lord! For $8 I can buy a pack of bacon, a pack of sliced cheddar cheese and a loaf of bread and make several of those sandwiches. Afew packs of bacon are definitely going into the cooler this year if that's what I have to pay to get my bacon fix!
WTF mate? They got rid of the bobbleheads?!?! For some stupid porkpocalypse thing?
At this point, I consider it false advertising for Bonnaroo to call itself a music and arts festival when all they've got left is the fountain and the graffiti wall. I've been to festivals here with a tiny fraction of the budget, with art that blows Bonnaroo out of the water. Seriously, Bonnaroo, artists are broke... it can't set you back that much.

Agreed, they REALLY need to step up their art game. It really does pale in comparison to other festivals. At least bring back Such And Such or something!
Edit: And the Hammageddon thing was VERY disappointing. Expensive, not much bacon/food, and nothing amazing. Get rid of it.
The Cracked truck was awesome! Easily my favorite truck meal of the weekend, and probably one of healthier choices I made. Hope to see you guys back! Second favorite meal - Bloody as Hell burger with fries and mayo from gastroPod. Worth every penny.
Bacon, hard salami, cheddar cheese, fried egg, hash browns, sweet n' spicy cream cheese on a ciabatta bun. The miracle that is the Goy Vey. The Cracked Trucks' solution for the festival goer who doesn't have time to be hungry...
I am intrigued by your words and am interested in subscribing to your newsletter.
I need something new; those bowel-ripping Thurmon Murmons do a number on me. Like, #666.
Tell me more about other food truck options so I won't end up shooting my liquified organs into the porto.

I wish we could bring our full menu out to the festivals...the Goy's cousin of sorts is the Sloppy Jose:

we can't sell it at the fests because fuck avocados and who knows if the health department will approve the bacon jam
avocados/guac is one of the tastiest things ever, but even at home they are a pain in my ass. Have to wait until they are just right, and even then you might open it and its got those little black spots and tastes weird. But when its right, it is right.
you should sell the sloppy jose without the guac. i won't tell the authorities about your secret bacon jam.

Damn. That bums me right out. I was really hoping Hammageddon was going to be awesome, like I was looking forward to checking it out. No pork being slow cooked on a spit all day long?

It's pretty much all show, and no substance. iirc, there was a pig in the big metal pig thing. But it was more in the field, so it's not like they were cutting off of it. Definitely disappointed in it, at least had a little bit of potential. For the price, I'd rather take my money over to just about anyone at the Food Truck Oasis. And I love bacon.
I know a lot of folks think that Bonnaroo has sold out, but I like how they are trying to enhance the overall experience. My first Roo was 2008. We brought all of our food. Since then I bring hardly any food. I'm really looking forward to the food and beer offerings this year.
Did a little leg work today. Roti Rolls, Savory and Sweet, and Bulls BBQ (now with two locations) have all confirmed their return for Roo this year. Waiting to see what Puffs of Doom is doing, I passed that place a dozen times last year and thought the concept was interesting, but the line was always horrendous so I kept walking.

Puffs of Doom is EVERYTHING! Husband and I shared a dessert puff while sitting in the hot sun of the Which stage and it was perfection. I hope they come back.
Also, any word on that boss grilled cheese truck in the Oasis. Those caprese grilled cheeses are always a great lunch!

See, now I REALLY want Puffs of Doom back! I knew those lines meant something, I was just always in a hurry to get somewhere else.
I checked up on The Big Cheese, but they are pretty hush hush on upcoming events on their sites. Maybe they will toss out an update in the next month or so since vendor applications have to be turned in soon.

Awesome Thurman Murman news! I've never tried Savory &Sweet. How are the fried avocado tacos?
they're incredible. best thing I ate on the farm last year.
Puffs of Doom replied to a comment on their Facebook page and said they would be on the farm this year. This is my first year on the farm and am super stoked for more than just the music. I love food! What food trucks should my husband and I not miss out on?

Confession: I know the Webster definition of "dank" but suspected I wasn't hip enough to know the intended meaning. Note to fellow inforoosters--after learning the urban dictionary definition of desired word Do NOT go exploring thru the urban dictionary with your 15 year old daughter. We did have some laughs though. Thanks Dan'roo--needed that going into Monday.

The last two years I have neglected the food options. With the low number of acts that I like compared to last year, I think I'll have the time to enjoy the food trucks/ food I've never had on the farm. I can't believe I haven't had Amish Doughnuts...
