Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
They should let Inforoo use the sonic stage for brunch. For the first time I actually tried ( well half-assed anyway ) to find brunch. Tent Only is a little intimidating!! This isn't my first Bonnaroo but my first venture even towards it. I took two steps in, panicked and said scrreeew that! I hate feeling like I am in the way, at Bonnaroo, a bar, supermarket, anything.. weirds me out. And I just felt like I was in the way and invading peoples space during those first few steps and bailed.. I also regretted it the rest of the weekend!
Sell some tickets online before the festival for the Comedy Tent. There's no one on earth funny enough to have me waste music time just waiting in line to get a ticket so that then I can wait in line again to get in.
Also, stop selling VIP tickets in pairs. Some of us have odd numbered people in our groups.
And yes, my family is odd, at the very least in terms of numbers.
The Porta-Showers need to be cleaned more frequently. We showered at night so as to avoid crowds, and they were filthy by that time. In fact, the last night, I admittedly showered drunk and thankfully had flip flops on because halfway through my shower, I realized that amongst the discarded shampoo and soap packages, which were so bad that it caused some of the showers to back up, someone had also TAKEN A SHIT IN THE SHOWER AND I WAS STANDING IN IT. That's what I get for paying $7 for a drunk ass shower though, haha.
I managed to get a 2 metre piece of plastic pipe into centeroo. they told me I couldn't take it in, so they watched me fold it up and put it in my trousers. This was the same day a police woman on a horse had an argument with me about me putting my flag on the ground.
I personally would like to see all of the people, the stages, the bands, the vendors, everything moved to closer than 5000 miles from my house. Or an airline to give me free tickets to get there. Best weekend of my life.
Plant 2000 new trees, so in the future, we will have shade.
Yeah, I am totally for this. I have only been this year and we had the best spot. We were in Pod 2 in the woods with shade and about a rugby pitch worth of space for us alone. It was incredible. I can't imagine what it was like for my fellow gingers out in the sun. And, plant more trees in general.

Dear Bonnaroo,
Please allocate some of your vast inventory of Porto-Pottys to an area closer to Tent Only. While i do enjoy peeing in a jug when I wake up the next afternoon, having the option of walking to a porto less than a quarter mile away would only improve my Bonnaroo experience.

THIS.
Coachella manages to offer showers for free and they have people working in each trailer making sure they are clean, so it can't be that hard. Paying for nasty showers is a bit of a slap in the face.
Walking beer/food vendors: -No need to lose that great spot at a great show, the beer guys (god bless em) are always wandering through the crowds to provide cold beer! -Same goes for mixed drinks. Get a mixed drink, or they’ll even just pour a shot from the bottle to your open mouth. -Also walking the grounds are ppl selling fresh cups of fruit, lemonade (spiked or virgin), popcorn, and more. You can get your vitamins without leaving a show.
This is an AMAZING idea! But I think it would prove impractical at Roo at least for people who have staked out a prime spot close to the stage. It's so crowded at some of the sets that I can't imagine a guy/girl with a tray full of beers squeezing their way through the crowd closer to the stage. Still it's a brilliant idea!

I'd imagine Coachella has a lot less people who need to/want to use the showers when compared to Bonnaroo. Also, I bet being closer/having easier access to the city may help if any issues come up like clogging or being backed up.
I totally agree about them improving the showers at Roo, though. Last time I took one it was $7 for cold water that was barely dripping out. I would have been better off just using two jugs of water and a wash cloth.

I don't see why the # of people would translate into not having a suitable system. Maybe add some more showers and people to clean them? The only time I've EVER seen someone cleaning the showers at Bonnaroo was in VIP. Having even one person at each shower station to periodically hose/scrub down the interior of the stalls with disinfectant and scoop out all the hair & trash would be loads better than what it is now. I'm sure it would do wonders with the drains being backed up too.
And how hard would it be to get some trashcans put in those things? They hand out shampoo samples every year and don't give people a place to toss them, so they naturally wind up all over the place and clog the showers and sinks. Gross.
Just thinking about the Bonnaroo showers gives me the icks.

For me it's the quality of the water (pressure, temperature) that takes away. The actual showers haven't ever been too gross when i've used them and I've seen times where they need to hold up the line to inspect/clean but I'm guessing they don't do it as often as coachella or vip. That's also just my personal experience with them so I may have gotten lucky whereas you've been unlucky.
The trash thing seems like an issue caused by those showering. I always take my wrapper from the shampoo out of the stall with me and toss it out at the table that I paid at. Even if they had a trash can inside there'd still be idiots littering them. Just like how there's an abundance of trash cans inside centeroo yet there's always litter on the ground.
They definitely could upgrade. Maybe that's something we should focus our voices on instead of "screens at the tents" cuz they know we want that already. I guess they figure "if it aint broke...don't fix it" since the system is flawed but people still use them.
