I was one of the lucky ones who got pulled off to the side and searched by the sheriffs. It went really well.. I only lost $1200 worth of goods and was told I'd be given a fine in the mail
15g's of a schedule I 210g's of schedule VI
I have no idea what to expect as far as a dollar amount should be a good time
I also received a citation, 10.8 grams of schedule II and "small bag" of schedule I though an amount is not listed. Still haven't received the letter in the mail although chances are its in my mailbox today.
other then that no clue. But any update after letter received would be great just for the sake of knowledge.
Edit: And the reason i post these is for OP knowing your story with the weight of the bags doubling the class VI depending on what came I'd consider options or at least get a free consult.
Also interesting and good for you OP is I thought much like federally TN would classify that as Class I. Probably sheer ignorance. But as a class VI that isn't bad. I mean a class V is Tylenol with Codeine.. The Class I is trouble though.

Any info would be nice, thanks guys.
I am fascinated of how things are found in that chaos... I already know OP story. Mind sharing how they got you?
Simple Possession: of any drug in Tennessee is a Class A Misdemeanor, punishable by fines, costs and 11 months, 29 days in jail. If you received a citation for any drug crime, it is a misdemeanor drug offense. If you were arrested, it could be either a misdemeanor or a felony. Minimum fines depend on the schedule of the drug and court costs vary in each Tennessee county. Typically, a simple possession charge, with both court costs and fines, will be anywhere from $1,000 to $1,600.
Haven't gotten mine yet either. In 2011, I think, my buddy was busted with a half oz of stink and his ticket took closer to a full month to arrive. it was $1000

This... two folks in our group had this pleasure in 2011. Dug out the docs i could locate.
The issue occurred entering on thursday 0f 2011. Filing date says 6/21/11 and the postage stamp is July 12th. So they prob arrived around july 14th, 2011. Both arrived the same day to different RI addresses, both for small personal amount of mj, same amount $1010. In the docs there is one that details the break down of that amount. Another page states you can pay by money order or call to pay by credit card with a 4% fee added. If you do not pay by the court date on the letter, paying is no longer an option. If you neither pay nor show up, a criminal warrant will be issued and you will be arrested for the initial charge plus felony failure to appear.
There was also a letter that came with the above that essentially said you would be an idiot not to pay the fine vs court. It also said ,, just repeating what it said ,, that if you received any other violations for possession within the one year period following that they reserved the right to revoke the citation and issue an arrest warrant.
PS. Despite the fact that I rolled in squeaky clean.. those above were in our vehicle. Scariest two hours in my book. This will Never have a chance of happening to us again!

Would you please stop being helpful? This board is for posting eye-busting GIFs and telling people to die in a fire. Also telling each other how much the music you love is terrible, and describing the shame that should follow. Only occasionally are breakfast choices discussed, and that is still venomous.

That you should do cocaine obviously.
Cocaine has many medical uses. That's why it has a lower schedule.

Just curious here, about how long do they give you to pay that fine?/ how far is the court date after the citation is given?
I'd tell you that the money orders used to pay the above mentioned citations were dated August 12th 2011 and so one could assume a month after receipt is anti-up time but that might be construed as helpful.
In those pics posted above, all of the fees were broken down for programs within the law enforcement entity. I noticed no fees were written for the actual crime. I wonder if they will all be like that? If I get something in the mail with those exact fees, i'll be ecstatic.
It is what it is, you pay your fines and be grateful you got hit in Coffee County rather than somewhere where they make their money by sending you to jail.

Troof, the game tends to collect when its ready and you aren't.
Thanks for all the info! Yea I had my entire crew's stash in my AC vent of the RV (hiding place for the last 5 roos with no problem). Well we hit the gate 20 minutes after opening (error #1) and get stuck in the police line. We had 3 cops ramsack my rig for about 15 minutes and the last place they checked before exiting was the vent. They saw a corner of a ziploc bag and boom, done deal. They spent about 5 minutes in our friend's rv in front and about the same on our other friend's tow-behind camper in the lane to the left. Bad luck, bad timing, singled out... 7 years and no issues. Shit happens and lesson learned I guess but it could have been waaaaaay worse.
They busted me for (2)8 balls, 2 grams Molly, Half-ounce green, 2 pipes, grinder. They were lenient (I suppose) and wrote the ticket for 10.8 powder (weighed it all together including bags) and "small bag" of mary. Still no letter and that happened on opening WED. Hell of a way to start Roo this year. My home state of Alabama though would have put me under the jail for a few years so I'm grateful.
And yes, I realize since they were cops I could have used my rights and attempted to deny a search without probable cause but hell, in the the heat of the moment and considering we were at the entrance I just rolled with it. Buuuurn.

Unfortunately you waived that right once you entered bonnaroo property. So refusal wouldn't have done you any good.
I go with the route if I can find it in the internet it is not good enough. So I offer this to the double agents... It WON'T be in the vents.. Now it all balances out.
