My guesses: The Dodos, Hundred Waters, Future Islands, Alt-J (if they're still considered up and coming), London Grammar, Art Department or Factory Floor, Lykke Li or Yelle, SZA, San Fermin, MO, St. Lucia, Cashmere Cat or XXYYXX. Also would bet money on either Lana or Lorde being there next year.
Milky Chance and Miniature Tigers (I thunk they're still "up and coming") seem to be likely choices for next year.
Also for hip hop on Thursday they could get Joey Badass, Flatbush Zombies, and/or the Underachievers
In a perfect world they'd get BRKFST... if they finally finish/release their quacking album!!!
just listen to this their over this Grizzly Bear-sampling beat and tell me it doesn't sound great
though I think a live show may lack a little because they'd probably just have a DJ doing their show and not a band, aka this biggest mistake ever that 90% of rap artists make

The Ghost of a sabertooth tiger was playing a small place in deep elumn, Dallas while I was there a few months ago. The line was around the block. Crazy.

If Lorde was gonna play at Roo it would've been this year. She'll be old news by 2015. I can definitely see Lana del Rey being booked next year.

I echo Jagwar Ma and Temples. Also, Hookworms, Pond, Melody's Echo Chamber, Morgan Delt, Future Islands, John Talabot, Nico Jaar (solo set would be awesome). Also for some Hip Hop, they aren't exactly up-and-comers because they are made up of vets, but the groups are relatively new, and that is CZARFACE and Run the Jewels.
