This band is called The Main Squeeze. They're funky as fuck, have a great album already released and are working on another one. They also play great covers such as Shout, Bulls on Parade, I Believe I Can Fly, some Sam Cooke songs, and some others that I don't remember because I was pretty drunk the second time I saw them this weekend. Also, this video is shot in the 15 cent beer night bar I referenced in the Drunken Rambling Thread, so you should watch the video just to see how awesome that place is! Gimme this band anytime on Thursday (preferably later) or on one of the smaller stages at night and I'll be front row.

um yes. please.
They'll be playing in Memphis this Wednesday the 22nd and Nashville the very next day, I know there are a buttload of Tennessee residents on this board so you all should definitely check them out if you haven't yet.

For free and all ages, I should go and take the kids.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.
I saw Temples and The Districts last night and I could absolutely see both being on the farm this year. Temples could fill the Allah-Las Thursday tent spot and I could see The Districts on the Miller New Music Stage. Both bands put on a great show.

So I just saw BADBADNOTGOOD last saturday at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Hands down one of the best shows I've seen this year. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands. I can only imagine what their Bonnaroo show would be like if they got to play.
2014:
April 05 - Twenty One Pilots
May 15 - Lana Del Rey
May 30 - Why?
June 12-15 - Roo '14
June 24 - Arctic Monkeys
September 05 - Twenty One Pilots
September 23 - Lorde
September 26 - Why?
My roommate introduced me to them and I'm hooked. They are coming by my city in April, no way I'm going to miss that show-but I'd rather see them on the Farm!

I saw them last month open for Sam Smith. May have been because it was the opening set, but I felt like the set was a little underwhelming. I really like their album, but I don't think they'd win a spot on my roo schedule.

That's disappointing--perhaps they have improved their stage performances since then :/ I could really see them performing Thursday late night-ish. Maybe in that MS MR time slot from last year.

BBNG are one of the most underappreciated bands I'm aware of. They've been putting out excellent material for several years now and they just keep getting better and better. And yeah, I hear their live shows are out-of-control with awesome.
edit. and oh shit I forgot! Another reason they should play is because they're coming out with a new album in a month with Ghostface on every track. Get that shit, Bonnaroo!

And then they can get in on FlyLo's superjam that night!
