I'm just gonna throw it out there, I think Paul/Killers/KoL gives FF the best headlining group out of any festival yet. A solid undercard and we're looking at a top tier lineup.
we were basically told thats the top 3 already. I would go for Pauls day even if its just him i like playing but i saw the Killers last year and assume its just gonna be the same set, theyre great live though. KOL i personally think is one of the worst bands i have ever seen live. The 2nd line will def have a big EDM act and my guess is Skrillex
i cant see how one song together is gonna make anyone want to book them together for it. You dont want Kanye at Firefly he keeps getting worse live from what i have seen. He was terrible at Made In America last year and half the people left before he ended
I'm not saying I want Kanye at FF but I was just thinking that it could be a possibility. I just have this gut feeling that it isn't The Killers or KOL playing. I feel like FF would try to be like the other festivals and like last year and have a big hip hop headliner.

Infinitypass has been responding to speculation that has been the result of a KOL/Killers/Mystery 3rd on here from Launchpad, I think those 3 are legit.
OutKast pretty much the exception thoguht not the rule. If infinity pass tell us its those then its those 3 and there is nothing else really to specualte on them.

exactly. firefly has always been more of a alternative/indie rock fest

The people that have confirmed KoL, The Killers and Paul McCartney have all proven extremely reliable from my understanding and they all fit into Firefly's style of music. Outkast has been the only hip-hop/r&b headliner and that was I'm guessing partially due to their large showing at festivals last year.
maaaan if Snoop and Macca both play and its on the same day i would be one happy person. Launchpad if you find out Snoop is 100% please share and if you know what day he might play.
for the headliners would Macca go on Friday like Foo last year

While I do empathize with people who have more of an interest in hip-hop, I do applaud Firefly for staying true to it's roots as an alt/indie rock festival. Too many festivals are trying to appeal to fans of every genre and I think it waters down the lineup a bit. That's not to say there won't be some solid hip-hop names on lines 2-4.
We're talking an original member of arguably the most iconic bands in music history. You can't pass that up.
I don't have this one 100% confirmed so take it with a huge grain of salt and not as insider information: Snoop Dogg.
Did Firefly get a grant or something to afford all of these names your dropping?
If this is true then that is incredible.
Part of it might be that they simply didn't waste good money on bands like Imagine Dragons this year. Then again, booking the Killers after they played in 2012 and have not released new material is a head-scratcher.

However, I guess at this point KOL would play for free just to get their reputation up.

at least i'll be able to take a break before whatever band plays after them
