A buddy of mine got me on the guest list for Infected Mushroom on Friday. Now I hafta choose between going to that or Bashmore... I would rather see Bashmore because I like him more and have never seen him before. But that show is all the way in Brooklyn which is about 40 extra minutes commute each way that I'd like to avoid... Life is hard =(
If you're going to be in NYC anyway then you don't really have an excuse. Plus infected mushroom? Really? C'mon man.

I could've seen Julio Bashmore in Chicago on Friday night, had no idea he was playing a solo show after opening for Disclosure After seeing Duke Dumont, I have to say to say Bonnaroo needs to put him in LN closing tent slot. One of the best electronic artists I've ever seen.

And if we can go ahead and throw Harris, Guetta, Avicii, Garrix, Aoki, Tiesto, and Pretty Lights in a huge pit and cover them with cement that would be great. Thanks.

Can we throw in most of the acts on your wishlist too? Thanks.

Sure, if you want to.
I understand that taste in dance music/music in general is a subjective thing but I can't help but feeling that people on this board are dying for an entire lineup of dance music that's Pitchfork approved.

First, I think it's funny you wish death on a large swath of EDM artists, then get butt hurt about my comment.
Second, I like all kinds of non-"Pitchfork approved" EDM (Prydz, Above and Beyond, Duke Dumont, Watermat, Calvin Harris). In the future, if that's the best retort you can come up with, you should probably just say nothing at all.

I'm not butt hurt. I even agreed with you. See above comment.
My opinion is that if we get any of those names which I would like to see banished beneath cement then we would get lesser quality second tier EDM which I would hate to see. In fact, what I typed wasn't a retort but a reply and also an opinion. I don't really have the time to fight with strangers on the internet.
We're gonna get Bassnectar and that's going to be fun.

If this is true you apparently don't have time to express yourself clearly either.
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.

I re-read my previous comment a few times and can't seem to figure out why you're confused. So I'll lay it out.
A) Tastes are subjective B) I was not arguing, not everything has to be a fight and it's ok to have a different opinion C) I'm hoping for quality "second tier" acts beneath a headliner like Bassnectar who draws a more "Roo" crowd instead of Avicii aka the Childlike Empress
